Bandai Macross F DX 1/60 VF-25G Mikhail Type
 

For the first time in any Macross series, a sniper valkyrie is featured. Mikhail Braun is a sniper for SMS(Strategic Military Services), and his blue with white trim VF-25G is specially equipped with armor and a sniper rifle. The DX 1/60 VF-25G Mikhail Type will be released in spring 2009, and comes with his sniper rifle, and display stand able to be used in each mode.

Man...this looks sooo cool!!....must resist temptation to buy....

Admittedly, I hated the character of Mikhail, but he has one of the best looking VF-25s in the series. Unique for a valkyrie overall, and excellent clad in blue with white trim. Mikhail's fate was executed very well in the series.

I like this better than the Luca type.

This is an excellent rendition of the VF-25, though I didn't like Michel, the guy who flew it.

I love the unarmored look of this valk, so I may well donate his armor to Alto. As someone has pointed out, it'd be perfectly cannon to do so without painting even, not that being canon matters that much to me. :D

Galia IV Set

I like how this set will be available in the future, though I'm not sure if I will buy Mikhail's 25G, as I'm not a big fan of the character. Any of you guys picking this set up?

At around $90 with third-party-brokerage fees, no, I can can definitely say I will not be picking this up. It's neat in theory, but just not enticing enough to convince me to get it.

picked this up tonight...played around with the one at the shop...nice accessories and a good price...almost as much as just a vf-25f or s alone...anyways...big box...finally :) now for the rvf-25 next week

Damn this valk is tempting despite my hatred for dislike for Mikhail. Same goes for Luca and his valk....the crappiest characters in the anime had some of the most unique Messiahs....


A while back Quinjester suggested that I buy this and the Alto and put the armor on Alto. Come to think of it...doing that would also let me use the sniper rifle on Alto...for a last episode homage.

It really is a thing of beauty. I just can't justify the purchase. grrr.

On top of that, it looks pretty sweet ;)
