First Images of Takara Transformers Masterpiece MP-10 Optimus Prime

Online toy shop Kapow Toys has posted the first images of the upcoming Transformers Masterpiece MP-10 Optimus Prime.
This is a brand new mold for Optimus Prime, and this figure is smaller compare to Masterpiece MP-01 or MP-04. It is roughly the same size of MP-09 Rodimus Convoy.

This version of Optimus Prime features:

Trailer featuring roller and repair bay
Transforming gun that stores in back compartment
In scale Spike Witwicky figure
Energon axe
Look closer to animation model
Opening chest revealing Matrix of Leadership
Flush and more accurate alt mode

I'm hoping they ''TAKARA'' will release a version of him without the Trailer.
I'll buy it either way, it's just I'm guessing if not for the trailer it would be cheaper.

How many characters are in the TF universe and they decide to make another Optimus? Easy pass for me.

I'm one of the few who didn't like the previous MP design on Prime so this one looks far better.
I'm definitely buying one.
My only complaint is that Primes Arms look real skinny just above the Elbow joint.:confused:

The size and how the grill lines up in truck mode are the only improvements I see. I think the look in bot mode is a step backwards though. I'm sticking with my Faith Leader. Easy pass for me.

Pros: Better looking truck mode, includes trailer and other new stuff/features.

Cons: Robot mode doesn't look as good as before, is smaller than previous version.

Color me interested. I wouldn't mind another version of him (especially since I don't have a trailer scaled to MP size), but the price (23100¥, or $286 at current rates) might be too much for me to swallow. It's on my radar for now.

it looks awsome but $250 bucks!?!! oh well time to get an 2nd job.....

Looks tremendous but my wallet has been violated to many times already. Maybe sometime down the road I'll get it.
