NECA Harry Potter Toys

1 Attachment(s)
NECA toys have announced their upcoming figures based on the new Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince film. I have seen the Harry Potter figures they have produced in the past and, while I never actually bought any, I thought they were really nicely done and looked cool.

The thing I'm looking forward to is that they have announced a line of 3 3/4" figures to accompany their standard 7" line. They even have a Lord Voldemort figure that is exclusive to the smaller scale line. No actual pictures or details about articulation have yet been released of the 3 3/4" line, but the prospect of expanding my 1:18 universe has got me anticipating their release.

The 7" scale figures are nicely sculpted but are more statuesque than action figures. Hopefully the smaller ones will include better articulation, at least the same amount included in Mezco's Hell Boy 3 3/4" line.

Am I complete and total dork-ass for wanting these? I enjoyed all the HP films, especially 3 and 4. Would you guys add these to your collections? It would be cool to have a Lord Voldemort to join Cobra's legions, or even take on Deadpool or Wolverine.

There are more just do a search for Harry Potter.

Thanks for the links, Autobot_Goldbug. They don't look too impressive, do they? To my knowledge, NECA has almost no experience with producing figures in this scale so it comes as no surprise to me that they pale in comparison to the 7" line. The lack of articulation seems to be apparent. But who knows, they might end up looking better in person. Have to wait and see.

I've always been impressed with NECA so I wouldn't judge based on these pictures alone. I wonder why play.com has more pic's up than Neca's site?
