Previews has listed the market bound Masterworks Sentinel to be released on Aug 31st.

In other news, 7,349 Galactus' collecting dust at local TRU's.

I sincerely hope not.......as this would not be boding well for producing further Masterwork pieces

I hear ya. I feel that way about a LOT of the lines.. (Thor, Cap, etc.) Seen it already with Spidey and IM2/ Armored Avenger not releasing last couple lines retail.. but yeah, Like loads of Galactus' at almost every TRU I visit. STILL asking $54.99. Kinda like the Wolverine/Logan/ Motorcycle/ Sabretooth thing. I heard they were paying people $12.98 just to take them off the shelves. ;)

I'm not a fan of the retail color scheme.

I like the SDCC color scheme better and still think that the BAF sentinel is way better than this. Anyone have one available? Hey, its worth a shot.

The BAF goes for about $100 on ebay- you'd be better off buying the old cheesy X-Men Sentinel for the head (which was pretty good) and finding any number of super-articulated japanese robots to use as a body- paint and repeat as desired.

Or if you want truly badass- get the "water fighters" Sentinel for it's head, put the head on an Armored Core figure and watch it slaughter your puny X-Men!

Weird, my TRU has 3 left since Christmas and they had a couple dozen at least when they first got them in.

Aside from the pic we've seen from Toy Fair. What was the other version of the Sentinel? Wasn't he like an Ultimate version?

Almost the same exact color variations as Galactus- maybey they just made up a boatload of those colors and need to use that plastic on something...;)

Maybe we'll get a Kree Sentry next- same colors!

I think the second one is going to be based on the Days Of Future Past, Sentinel.

Funny you mention Kree...was thinking that it was odd that they havent run one in the 3.75 line.

Is it wrong that I don't just want one Sentinel? I'd like to have at least 3. But damn that price tag!

You know what I mean though. Some figures, even the larger ones, are meant to be surrounded by many. That's why I keep buying Multiple Mans, Skrulls, and AIMs.

I think with a few Sentinels I could have a pretty cool X-Men section.

I'll get at least 2 (Classic colors) early on.

If TRU gets in the blue/purps, I'll get one whenever I have a coupon and nothing else to buy. 4 will be my limit and maybe a 1 silver if I can somehow get it cheap.

Coming out in August is great and all, but I may have to pass on it same as I ended up doing with Galactus due to lack of funds.

The upshot is I still have my BAF Sentinel and he works just fine for me.

Both of the TRU's in my area are completely sold out and they had at least 6 to each store when he first showed up.

They may be shelf-warming in certain areas, but not everywhere.

Definitely know what you mean. Several Sentinels and the Xmen would be an epic display.

Hell yeah- then we'll be clamoring for a nice metallic Nimrod figure!

Well, besides Captain Marvel anyway.

The prefect mold for a Kree Soldier alreay exists with Guardian- just pop a fin on his head, repaint and add weapons! They could even go from standard metallic green and white to metallic purple and whire for a nice officer variant.

I can't find a Comic 2-pack..but I could buy a 4 cases of Galactus. All regional I guess.
