Warning for anybody looking to buy

I bought a Tasky & deadpool 2 pack but when i opened it I realized Tasky has no sling for the arrows so be on the lookout if you're buying one

c2close 05-25-2011 10:11 AM

can u pic ur fig sir so we know how should it be? thanks for the help

Redlantern161 05-25-2011 10:24 AM

Well its rather simple look for a harness across tasky's torso & if you dont see it then he's missing it

omega145 05-25-2011 10:27 AM

Could have been a repack job, where did you get it?

Redlantern161 05-25-2011 10:28 AM

N he looks doofy cause the entire cape leans back to the point where he looks strangled by it because it's sculpted to look like the lump in the cape shows that the sling is supposed to occupy that space

Ha! I said lump in cape lol

That wouldn't make much sense cause I remember seeing another one the same way

quinten182 05-25-2011 11:50 AM

And who goes through the trouble of repacking only to steal an arrow harness? No one.

Real repackers apparently restuff with large star wars dolls. :P

nexxone05 05-25-2011 12:34 PM

Thanks for the heads up. I will be checking my mine out today.

I had to put a lot of effort into fixing Taskmaster. Lucky for me I didn't have your problem. The sword never fit into his hand, the gun he came with sucks. So I had to use some modeling clay to make his handle fit into his hand, and used Dr Dooms gun from the comic pack to go with Taskmaster. Now, its awsome :P

Jason Abbadon 05-26-2011 11:04 PM

In the comics, Tasky uses whatever works for weapons- guns can be whatever and even his sword has been replaced several times.

I always swap out MU weapons for the far superior GI Joe stuff- looks amazin with the Soldier types.

Redlantern161 05-28-2011 05:05 PM

if you look around in target u might find some $2 army figures that carry an array of weapons

Theta Rock 05-28-2011 09:03 PM

I checked out some of the Deadpool/Taskmaster 2 packs after I read your thread, none of them looked to be missing anything. I haven't had any trouble with mine so far, his gun works in his hand, the sword fits fine.
