Bandai Ultraman Monster Series!
 

This thread is dedicated mainly to Bandai's awesome Ultra Monster Series line of vinyls, but feel free to show off and ask questions about any Ultraman or monster figure you come across. I'll have a different thread for movie guys like Godzilla and Gamera later.

The Ultra Hero and Ultra Monster Series by Bandai represent one of the company's longest running toylines ever, dating as far back as 1983. The figures are made of hollow vinyl, continuing the tradition of the classic Bullmark and Marusan monster toys, and stand roughly six inches tall depending on the kaiju. They also contain one of the widest variety of sculpts imaginable. The unique number of characters alone number in the hundreds, with updated sculpts and alternate versions appearing all the time.

I am constantly left in tears over the lack of a camera or anything else, so I can't show off my modest collection. Here's just a sampling of the insane characters that exist in the current toyline, in my album.

There is a downside to all the awesome - low articulation, but this is improving. And at $7-10 a pop even with the economy circling the rim, they're still bargains.
