My latest eBay gripe.
 

If this is an 'Arker, I'm sorry, but here's another case of a seller trying to "spin" their item.

MARVEL UNIVERSE LOT TRU X-MEN 35TH GIANT VARIANT ERROR | eBay

I even emailed the seller who promptly said, "oh I didn't know, someone else posted it for me. I'll change it."

That was two weeks ago. And you see it all the time. It is a VARIANT, not an error. Now if there was an ERROR within the variant, that would be a pretty cool find, but Jesus, these folks need to advertise as is, and stop using buzzwords like "variant" or "chase" or "error" when in fact, it's a completely normal item.

Sorry, ticks me off.

Is a variant. look at nightcrawlers arms and legs. They have full right to use Chase and Variant. thats a Bamfing Crawler and a White Stripe Storm. Variant.

I don't know why I get so angry at stuff like this, but I do. I suppose maybe it's because we know what a chase, or variant, or error actually is...and it may be what we're looking for. But then some sellers just throw the terms around like meaningless slang.

It's like me listing I'm 7' tall on a dating ad, showing up, being 5'8 and saying, "oh I didn't know there was a difference." LOL!

The Error is in whoever added that white crap to Storm. What were they thinking?
If they wanted my money, they would have swapped Thunerbird for Banshee as their variant.

Thunderbird would have been the last candidate to swap out. Wolvey the first.

I don't blame this person at all. If some one buys it for a price like that and finds out its just a variant, I wouldn't blame the seller. The buyer should do research on that sort of stuff.

Some douche trying to tripple his money back and take some poor sucker along for the ride. some uneducated unwise collector/parent/family member shopping online for little Timmy's bday present are going to be pissed that they could of got 3 for the same price... yeh some sellers need to be educated or have a limit on misleading auctions before termination.

I noticed that ebay auction when I was looking for figure lots. As for the Stealth Iron Man figure that brings me back to my very 1st MU figure & the comment about swapping out wolverine I agree with him & Cyke getting swapped since those were already made there could've been a Jean with the big mask (pre Phoenix), Phoenix in green or Banshee even

While things like this tend to piss me off as well, it's really a discussion for our Ebay forum.
