Avengers EMH 3.75" line ideas

I, like many of you, am a fan of the EMH cartoon. Wouldn't it be great if Hasbro either had an MU wave for EMH or gave it its own toyline? Just think of it...
Baron Zemo, Baron Strucker, MODOK, Arnim Zola, Madame Hydra, Mockingbird, Executioner, Graviton, Mad Thinker, Leader, Kang.
The villains alone would just about complete a bunch of my themed displays.

THOUGHTS???

I love the cartoon, but I wouldn't want another toyline to collect, but instead introduce the characters that are missing from the cartoon series into the main MU line.

I agree a new line would cost them 2 much and be annoying, as it's already hard enough for the average collector to collect all of xmo, im2, MU and any other related waves.. I would rather just see Hasbro add these much needed figures to an already improving MU line.

If they did a toy wave I can only see it being similar in design to the cancelled Fantastic Four line of toys based off the 2005-ish animated series.

And that would be very "meh".

The difference is thatthe show didn't last long so the toys didn't stick around as long....

Longer times on the shelves/more waves=better chances that the figures can peak and get better

Neither did the Wolverine & the X-men line nor the Iron Man animated line.
I really doubt an Avengers:EMH line would fare any better. Heck they dropped the animated look for their G.I. Joe Renegades figures.
I would only pick them up if they did not have an animated style to them.
So I agree with vwong19.

If they actually produced good figures im sure they would sell better than the wolvy or iron man armored avenger ones. theres alot of buzz around the avengers with the film coming out next year. they have only had one season of EMH and it was excellent and most people agree on that, they are definitely releasing season 2 and that is setting up to be really good. there is no reason they shouldnt do a toyline for this, they just need to learn from their mistakes and not produce shite figures. but then i suppose cost is an issue.

if they were smart, this could be marvels JLU. the animated style is a good one and its a shame there isnt really any marvel line that refelects this. EMH is a good opportunity to start one off.

The rumor mill I heard on wolverine and the x men was that things changed when disney bought marvel. I guess they wanted to take it in a different direction. I think its bs because I liked that series.

For this EMH series is badass. Up until this series I wasn't too much into the avengers stories. Mainly because I was only exposed to the old skool x men cartoons from the 90s. After going though EMH season, it introduces new characters I didn't care two cents for in the past. Example is black panther. I like what they did for this character in this series. Also, now I want to see Kang, Reaper, baron zemo, Executioner, etc, etc for MU and I can only hope this happens.

I only want the characters who are missing from the line that were introduced in the show & there was something on here a long time ago that had silhouettes of characters & a bunch of them made it through so I'll say Mockingbird might be coming down the pike

Symbiote 06-21-2011 05:04 PM

The theme song is badass too

Anyone update me if Season 1 is done? I haven't watched for months and I am far behind! HALP! :P

Prem1x 06-21-2011 07:03 PM

I've repeat what I've said before. I wouldn't want an A:EMH figure line that would compete with MU (and eventully/hopefully a comic series in the Avengers movie line). I'd rather just have more MU figures to fill in the A:EMH lineup.

However, if we have to have one, it better darn well get me that Quinjet (or two).
