Ideas for a custom gl movie stel????
 

So the figure they released of Stel was based on an entirely different design to the one they ended up using in the movie. So what figure comes closer to the GL movie STEL???

Looks to me like Stel has Iron Mans legs with Bumblebeees upper body and head. I dont know of a 3.75 bumblebee though???

Does anyone have any ideas for figures that could be used for a custom Stel? maybe a Star Wars droid that looks like him???

Stel's been rbuilt a bunch of times, so accuracy is not super important- jst go with the GL theme and include the symbol.
Maybe use a Super Battledroid as a base with lots of small transformers parts as detailing? My local Ratget has a ton of small Transformers just now, but I dont know the toy line's exact name.
Google transformers keychain- there were small Bumblebee and Megatron keychains made last movie, IIRC.


Check Gundam action figures too- LOTS of amazing detail and robot bodies there!

thanks for the tip on the transformers keychains. i ended up getting a bumblebee one. i will most likely use the head and torso and kit bash the rest.

i will have to see how it comes out after i receive the keyring and get started!
