Is it just me or do the pics not work for anybody else? if so... then fail

itMFtis 06-29-2011 10:11 AM

Work fine for me.

quinten182 06-29-2011 10:15 AM

Yeah they work for me too. They look pretty much like the MU figures for each. I actually wish they were 3.75 so I could get SLJ Fury without buying the $25 pack! :P

Redlantern161 06-29-2011 11:20 AM

Hmm that looks pretty good especially cause the 3 3/4 line is marred with QC issues as far as paint goes. The 6 inch figures of course hardly have those kind of issues these days

there aren't any on eBay that are loose?

MonkeyBusiness 06-29-2011 11:45 AM

I've been waiting out the Captain America and Thor lines, but 6 inch figures are my weakness.

Here's hoping for a 6" Thor and Loki so I can complete the Avengers.

warmachine6 06-29-2011 12:05 PM

YES !!!!! fianally been waiting for these since the movies to the avengers come out cant wait for the captain america ones !!!! :D

i feel slighlty a bit unconfortable due to they look very similiar to the 3.75inch wave but luckly i looked and they have different packaging. and on cmdstore it doesnt show any pre-orders of cap or nick in 3.75 line

same , i got the war-machine, ironman (from iron man 2 ) didnt like the hulk really. But i bet you when the movie comes out they would have realsesed a 6 inch and 3.75 inch box of figures containing the avengers

stjuggernaut 06-29-2011 12:36 PM

yeh the captain america could easily be mistaken for the 3.75 inch one, the only real difference is the head, it looks smaller somehow??

nick fury is brilliant though. i dont think we could ask for a better 6 inch nick fury. im glad hes got a plastic coat and nut a crappy cloth one. he looks awesome.

i think the thor is a comic con exclusive isnt it? so looks like we will be paying high premiums if we want to get a 6 inch avengers going!

warmachine6 06-29-2011 12:37 PM

sorry for another reply , but has anyone heard if there is going to be an x-men first class toyline based on the movie ?

i said earlier that they might make a massive box set earlier so they might not be exculsives , the problem is though that we dont what hasbros plans are , by the way love your custom dc figures

warmachine6 06-29-2011 12:47 PM

i think you might be wrong static 22Marvel Thor Movie 6" Action figure: Thor (Normal Version) Marve from Toy Planet cause i have found these but they look very similar to the 3.75 inch ones or the 8inch ones but this store says 6inch i havent order one but normally a 6 inch is £7.99 in the UK

nakobass 06-29-2011 12:48 PM

They both look awesome to me. I was hoping Movie Cap would have a varient Head without the mask and helmet, maybe later.

That could either be in august or in 2012 not sure

WindsofHorus 06-29-2011 03:17 PM

BRING ON THE THOR FIGURES NOW!

This is great news.. I was waiting on these!

WindsofHorus 06-29-2011 03:18 PM

Also the boxes say "Movie Series".. Here's to hoping we get a comic series too!!

Theta Rock 06-29-2011 05:19 PM

Nice!! Now those two can go with my Iron Man 2 and my Hulk....please make Thor, please make Thor.

I've been waiting a long time for them to show these bad boys off.

Nexodusrex 06-29-2011 05:49 PM

I'd rather Hasbro stay out of the 6 inch line. they proved they arent that good with it and that ship has sailed. Let Diamond Select handle the larger figures and have Hasbro devote more time and energy into Universe

I almost agree with you, based on their handling of the Marvel Legends. But towards the end, during that last year and a half, they put out some really, really nice Legends figures. They really started to get the hang of it, and as Static22 points out, a lot of the last figures were downright awesome!!!!

Agreed, the 6'' walmart IM2 exclusive line is 1 of my favorites, the warmachine and Ironman Suits are amazingly detailed and reasonably priced, and found no paint issues. The newer titanium man and war machine are just as good, I wasn't lucky enough to get myself any of the new ML 2packs but the quality and sculpts are there. I'll give em a few shots before Diamond should step in.
