Great seller, the transaction went smoothly.
Would gladly deal with again. |
Great seller, super smooth transaction, and the ship time was superb! Ordered Friday night, shipped out on Saturday, arrived on Monday! Doesn't get much better than that!
|
Fantastic service. Great prices. Would buy from again.
|
2nd time dealing with wbcollect. First was me buying and this time was a trade of multiple figures. Fast shipping, great communication and awesome to deal with! Recommend highly!

wbcollect
LOL, I've bought a lot from this place, but my recent shipment really shows the depths in which they will go to save their Canadian clients money on shipping. Galactus was origamied up so creatively, I questioned if I received the correct item when comparing the unopened parcel to the Dark Galactus I already had. I was thinking "There's no way this could fit in there." and yet it did... Bravo, you've outdone yourself, you action figure contortionist, you!

Oops, just realized there already was a wbcollect feedback thread... Ah well.
|

putting my feedback in the proper place
Initially I had put this in another forum, but I believe it belongs here
Its nice to here others have had good experiences with WBCollect, I wish mine as the same I first ordered from them last spring, the item didnt show up - fair enough it happens. I was promptly refunded, they were very professional and kind about it. I made 2 more smaller orders that showed up quickly, a really good start but that was the end of any positive experience with them. I place an order for some Gijoes for about $55 in July. I waited and waited, nothing came. I emailed them, they said the order hadnt processed properly and got missed but they would send it out right away. No problem, stuff gets lost in the system, right? I placed another small order with them shortly afterwards, and another, and another all the while communicating with them regarding this matter of the first missing order. They were very polite and reassuring in their communications and they had handled our first transaction so well too, I figured it would work out. Its November now, I have nothing from them but a lot of nice emails claiming items have been sent and promises, but no results. I'm out about $100 and its been over 3 months since ordering my first order that hasnt showed. They have now stopped communicating with me, I've sent 3 emails since October 22 with no response. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau to try to facilitate a refund - I should have done this through Paypal but didnt because WB seemed very honest and very ready to work things out. Now I have no way of pursuing this through Paypal which is really my own fault for being trusting regarding them. The most worrying is that they have stopped communicating with me and have not refunded me. They seem like nice people over email, I like their prices, but after this experience I will never order from them again. Regardless of wether or not I feel they are being dishonest in this situation by not providing me with either a refund or product. Any company that can consecutively mess up 5 orders just isnt worth buying from. Mistakes happen as a seller on ebay I make them too just like everyone else, but this situation is ridiculous. Two big thumbs down for WBCollect from me |
its funny to me that only first class international packages that don't get scanned upon delivery are the only packages to ever get lost.. ever notice that ? they certainly got scanned upon pick up from the post office
how many packages "lost" do i have to eat to not be the bad guy? when am i allowed to say enough is enough? i deal with a few guys from Canada on this board alone... yet there has never been a problem do i make mistakes? hell yeah, but i try to fix each and every one ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ now i have no idea if your emails got eaten in spam filter or what but i haven't seen them i try my best to respond to every email if you want i can be reached at sales@wbcollect.com or wbcollectibles@aol.com |
As a seller on ebay I definitely notice that, and I can see why a lot of sellers in the US refuse to ship internationally. Ive refunded my fair share of packages in my time, and ones where it has really felt unjust because I'm going through the motions with the refund process...with the postal reciept has been sitting beside my laptop.
Its frustrating, I imagine there are more than a few people out there who will claim non reciept of an item dishonestly. This is not me Heck Ive even had stuff turn up 2 months after the fact, after Ive been refunded, at whch point I contact the seller and send payment. Wen you ask when is enough enough? my answer would be 'When its resolved" which is how I run my seller side of things. Does it suck? yes it absolutely does, and one can feel really ripped off sometimes when they hit that refund button. I believe though that it is part of maintaining a good business sense, or good karma if you will. In my case I didnt get an "enough is enough" you just ceased communication with me, thus prompting me to contact the BBB after 3 emails sent to you over few weeks that went without reply. I don't know what more I could do at that point in time. Heck even if you'd sent scanned copies of the postal reciepts to me and said "look this sucks for us both can we agree on a refund for 1/2 the amount paid" that wouldve been more towards an acceptable resolution rather than dropping all communication. I sympathize with sellers who go through this, I once had to refund a Transformers S.T.A.R.S base to the tune of $400, however ignoring the situation and the buyer isnt a professional solution no matter how frustrated one may be. Please work at resolving this with me, |
I have always been honest and forthcoming with you and everyone else i have no problem working this issue out with you none at all when we had problems in the past i always did so
it honestly blows my mind that you would go from forum to forum bad mouthing me when in the past i took your word for everything i would reship or refund or whatever i stated this before the site means sooooooooooo much to me i try my hardest to keep up a good rep sure its toys and its fun and games but the income i make helps support my family and i take it very seriously if you wanna work this out cool pm or email me and if you want tracking info i got it i print my postage with stamps.com |

I'm glad that you seem concerned and hope we can work it out. All sellers want a good rep, it keeps us going, and it is particularly concerning if selling is our livelihood, however feedback comes in both forms of positive and negative. I do feel the need to clarify that "Badmouthing" however is to falsely accuse someone, or to attack their good name with malicious intent. My statements on this site/forum - and please feel free to correct me if I am inaccurate in saying this - are not false, nor are they malicious or aggressive in their wording. They explained the situation as it is, and reflected my opinion as just that, my opinion. My experience with WB since the summertime is quite negative, and one that I felt should be shared with others. I didn't feel that way until you began ignoring my attempts at communication, because even if there wasn't a resolution at that point in time, dialogue is still progressive. When this is resolved I will be sure to let that also be well known amongst members as you would indeed deserve that recognition. Take care |

If you're finding packages to international buyers going missing, I hope that you're reporting this to USPS. It may be that someone in your local post office or processing centre is gaming the system. Since first class international packages are only tracked as received at the post office with no tracking after that, they're an easy target for insider theft, since they domestic stuff going missing raises a flag as non-delivered. This kind of thing happens all the time. My stepfather's job in Canada was a postal cop, had a badge and everything, his whole job was investigating postal employees and you wouldn't believe the stuff they'd do with the mail. Anyway, I'm still hoping my package shows up somehow, though it seems like a lost cause. Otherwise, let's work something out, as I believe we're both acting in good faith here and sometimes deliveries just go bad. But let your USPS office know about it as maybe you're getting scammed by a postal employee on some international orders. |
Greeting all,
I had this posted on another Wbcollect thread but I thought I'd add it here since this seems to be the most recent and official thread for feedback, To let everyone know I had an up and down dealings with them but am glad to say that they came through on the last issue we had and set matters straight. Having good communication and pride in their company was seen in the last discussion and action I had with them and feel happy and very comfortable to do business with them again. Hope all other issues are resolved with our fellow arkers and them. |

Wb and I are back in contact privately and he has assured a refund is coming soon. I hope I'll get to give him some kudos for working at solving a situation like you did. |
I just wanted to update everyone as to my WB scenario as well. Since the discussion opened up on these boards WB has worked at providing me with a refund for my items in installments. They've been clear in their communication and prompt in their replies. It's been much appreciated.
Thanks to everyone contributing to the discussion too, I hope you all had a great Christmas. |
I bought several items over the last year from WBCollect on his website, no issues at all except my second last order took a while to ship. For my last order, I ordered one Black Widow figure (in December), it has neither been shipped nor cancelled. It's March now. I emailed him, and his response was that it was not shipped because it didn't meet the free shipping quota of $5 (it's $10 now, but doesn't matter in my case) since it was $4.99. He offered me a refund, or if I wanted to buy some other items to qualify for free shipping. I let him know that I wanted a refund, on February 20th. I have not received a response nor a refund. It's not the money that matters in this case, just poor service. I rarely have bad transactions when I purchase things, and this is heading in that direction. I will be unlikely to purchase from his store in the future.

I placed an order with them on November 23, it is now more than a month later and I haven't received anything yet.
I emailed WBCollect regarding my order after about 3 weeks and he insisted they had been shipped, yet the order status was still "Pending". Then a few days later, I checked and it said shipped (12/14/2013). I know it's Christmas time and it is busy, but during this period, I've had multiple orders from all over the world that have all made it before Christmas already (I'm located in Ontario, Canada). The orders were from San Francisco, Japan, hell I even ordered something from China with free shipping and that has arrived already. All these orders were made at least a week or more after the WBCollect order. Unfortunately, this is not my first bad experience with them. I made two consecutive orders with them several months ago. After about 3 weeks, nothing. So I emailed them about it, 2 times, no reply. Eventually I posted on their Facebook wall and then I got a reply within minutes from my post (of course my post was deleted right away as well). Again, WBCollect insisted they were shipped already. But turns out my first order was returned because they used the wrong shipping method (item was too big). The second order was shipped a few days AFTER I posted on their Facebook page, which was about 4 weeks from the date of my order. The time it took to arrive was less than a week. So why would I order from them again after this experience? It was because shortly after, I noticed they mentioned on their homepage that their "Contact Us" page wasn't working properly and the emails weren't going through and that was how I contacted them before I took to Facebook. I thought maybe it was a coincidence because they didn't get my emails so it took so long, hence I gave them another chance with my order this time. But it looks like I am wrong. As good as their prices seem, the saying goes, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. I will be avoiding this shop in the future as they are just a hassle to deal with. Regarding this current order, I will wait one more week before I take it up with Paypal once again. |
