Skaar Variant

There is a Skaar Variant, but its nothing to get excited about. Just reporting it.
Much like the Skrulls of last year, the Skaar has a variant stand which reads "Son of Hulk" as opposed to Skaar. You super collectors may want one of each.

Heres the proof

Thanks for the info! The second one has a laughable price though.

I'm assuming the title for the Brooklyn Bridge is in the Skaar package.

I swear I thought someone posted about this a few months ago, along with other figure stand variations (like Ben Reily/Spider-Man). But yeah, I'll just be happy to find one of them and whatever stand I get is the one I get.

Shawn Woodbeck 07-06-2011 11:04 AM

Patience is gonna be key. I'm already getting ansy.

NerfTW 07-06-2011 11:17 AM

I'm pretty sure the stand variants are evenly distributed. I noticed case assortments are now 2 of each new figure per case, plus two carry overs, so I'm guessing they'd do one of each for the stands.

I wound up with a 50/50 distro on my Skrull stands as well. I didn't even notice the variants until I got them.

Expecting $99 for it is on par with the original 1995 Kenner Star Wars short/long lightsaber "variants". Or Boba Fett's "circle/half circle" on his gloves. AKA: Ridonkulous.

It's a cool figure, and I prefer the "Son of Hulk" version. Maybe it'll end up in my collection.... who knows.

DogFashionDisco 07-09-2011 09:04 PM

Ah, and yes, I know it is just a stand. Either way, I still want the figure.
