I hope there's a third regular figure in it. Two regular, one small, and an accessory doesn't seem right to me, given the Fantastic Four pack with both a large and a small figure.

Tomorrow I'll post a pic to get you clamoring for the GotG set (not figs, original artwork by Brad Walker).

oh yes.I just today bought myself a new used car (2002 Chevy Impala- a former police car that's been painted black) and I can now (FINALLY!) give public transportation the finger!
It also mean I can finally get my original art to my work in the middle of the night to scan it and put it online -and to frame it all useing the massive worktables at work!

As long as it aint pouring rain, I'm doin it!

Hahaha duuuude, put some extra antennas on it and tint the windows and just park on the side of a highway and watch everyone slow down drastically. I know I would, but I don't have much of a life...

Went with the "Winners drink Beer!" motif for our heroes this time.
the plan is to have Brad do a matching sketch each month untill I have the entire team- I'm thinking of Phyla, Moondragon and Drax next time for a sorta family portrait.

And don't forget GotG will be in Avengers:EMH next season. WOOT!

Oh swish!
I'm a massive fan of the recent cosmic stories so this superhero set is going to sit very nicely alongside Thanos, Gladiator, Phoenix, Captain Marvel etc
Add on an appearance in the wicked cartoon series and then the Annihilator's touching down on Earth in Septemeber. Good stuff!

It's good to see that they're also bringing in all the heroes they set up in the first season as well.

-edit: Oh, they're from the DVD sneak peak. I fail for having not watched those yet. I could have known this info MONTHS AGO. :P


edit the second: After watching the DVD sneak peak, it occurs to me that this might be why it's coming out. To coincide with the cartoon appearance. At least three characters from the set are in the preview. (Groot, Rocket Racoon, and Starlord)
It's nice to know that they're paying attention, even if almost all the characters from the cartoon have been made.
