Marvel Legends Wave 1?

Once again our man SDComics is the man on the inside at Comic Con 2011 as the con is being set up.
He called us tonight with a little bit of Marvel Legends news that he got from the Hasbro team.

They will be showing Marvel Legends wave 1 & 2 of the relaunch at the show. Wave 1 will be in the case the whole show. Wave 2 will debut at Hasbro’s Marvel panel and then be in the case after that.

Wave 1 will be: Klaw (classic look), Hope Summers, Constrictor, Steve Rogers as the Super Soldier, Iron Man (one of his classic armors), what looks to be the new movie version of Ghost Rider, the Comic Con Thor and the Build-a-figure is Terrax

Wait.....the Comic Con thor or at least his repaint will be in stores with Wave1?

Very cool that we'll get a Hope figure, if this is true. Interesting that they'll have movie versions of characters too.

Cant wait to see the Iron Man and Ghost Rider.

Word! Another Iron Man suit is always welcome in the armoury. so long as the waves hit retail my way ;). I would love to see the pics though and make a more concious decision, as Iron Man and Ghostriders are worth buying regardless if it's a great figure or not. Same reason most of us have like 5 wolverine figures or more.. can never have enough of a good thing. The BAF will be nice to finally see. And that thor in the hammer packaging is killing me. I want to get 2, 1 for moc and 1 for display, but I have the feeling finding 1 will be hard enough.

cant even think about these. 3.75 has me already tapped out, forget Legends on top of that...and then of course I would feel obligated to go backwards to collect everyone from 2001- on. oy!

Yeah, I recently pawned off my medium sized Legends collection simply to help pay for MU and clear up space for it.. no way I'm going down that road, no matter how bad I may want to.

Yeah unless you have a sh*tload of cash, you basically have to choose one or the other.

This is true. But seeing as how I'm not a completist... I'll probably pick up a couple of my fave characters, but only if they rock. ;)

I'm an MU completionist, but not an ML one by any means, especially after selling most everything. But I retained a few ML favs, so I will do the same, but I realllly have to be careful.

I never got into MU so this is welcoming news. I'm not a completists either but some characters could use an update like Nightcrawler. His ML face is just aweful. Bring on Bucky Cap, Commander Rogers and bleeding edge Ironman! ML FTW!

..Oooooooohhh Bucky Cap?!? first sug2763 has me hyped and now you have me salivating! I would need ol' Cap to place next to Bucky of course!! I do so hope that with this new line HASBRO brings in a lot of the new looks to some ol' faves!!!!
