Man..... i wanted to see hawkeye. oh well, these are cool too.

omega145 07-20-2011 06:07 PM

Nice to see them but too similar to whats already out there or coming out to get them.

brianregan09 07-20-2011 06:20 PM

There too similar to the ones from the movie lines :(

stjuggernaut 07-20-2011 06:22 PM

is this 3.75 scale???

if so, i think they are cool. caps suit does look very different. obviously more selembles the ultimate cap and i think is quite different from his movie WWII costume. Thor looks quite different. he looks more beefed up, his face sculpt and hair look more accurate.

iron mans armor looks shite.

jynxer 07-20-2011 07:00 PM

Looks pretty cool so far. What's scale are these?

shadow024 07-20-2011 07:33 PM

I'd say they are 3.75'' scale since they seem to be the same size as that Amazing Spiderman http://cdn.toyark.com/news/attach/2/...1311210420.jpg

ludovicotek 07-20-2011 08:01 PM

Nice. Looks like 6" to me.

Agreed, what's the point...horrible effort Hasbro!

ZeoVGM 07-20-2011 08:28 PM

Christ, some of you people live to bitch.

That's what the costumes look like in the movie, which are unsurprisingly not too different from their previous movies.

Saying "horrible effort" Hasbro makes absolutely no sense. What the hell do you want them to do with the figures?

I beg to differ - if you look close, that Cpt. America is quite a detailed great new sculpt, very modern looking.

They're the movie figures from the upcoming movie that's essentially a sequel to the other movies. News Flash: Hasbro doesn't have a damn bit of say in the costume designs for the movie.

What the hell was Hasbro supposed to do? "Sorry Marvel, we're not going to make movie figures for Avengers that actually look like what's in the movie."

Yeah...right.

Cap is in a different costume entirely. Iron Man is in a new suit that looks like a combination of his Mark IV and Mark VI suits. Thor looks beefier and more detailed (and is almost guaranteed to get another figure in an alternate costume later in the line).

MegaPrime33 07-21-2011 04:22 AM

I was hoping for a sleeveless Thor.

thor alway needs his armor!!! its one of the best parts of his costume surely.

yeh i agree they have done a good job replicating what the figures are supposed to look like. there are alot of people that complain about the thor movie line, or the cap line, i dont know what they are expecting from a figure that is extremely detailed for such a small scale and has a butt load of articulation.

good work hasbro!

Call it a hunch, but I bet we get a sleeveless Thor before the Avengers line is finished. It's not like these are going to be the only three figures in it.

malcontentman 07-21-2011 05:44 PM

I am certain we will see a sleeveless THOR since he will be sleeveless in the Avengers movie, a la Ultimates, according to the trailer shown at the Con.

stjuggernaut 07-21-2011 06:03 PM

ive been investigating this. everywhere i have chec ked online has had the video removed. is this "leaked" avengers trailer, the after credits scene of captain america or something different???

i cant find it anywhere!

stjuggernaut 07-21-2011 06:19 PM

just found these pics online that are alot clearer. they are fantastic, thor and cap in particular look awesome. i think they have done a great job of making caps suit look totally different to that of the current film. thors face sculpt is so much more accurate. not sure about the blue on his suit though. but the figs are awesome..

FadeToBlackBolt 07-21-2011 08:30 PM

I'll be getting Cap; will have to think about Thor, and definite pass on Iron Man.

Helix326 07-22-2011 07:35 AM

Looks I'll be skipping out on 6 inch The First Avenger Walmart Exclusive Captain America and wait till next summer and get the new Captain America

Snowflakian 07-22-2011 07:51 AM

That cap is awesome. Glad I waited for his Avengers movie costume. Thor and Ironman seem like skips though. I have good enough versions from their previous lines. Might reconsider once I see them in hand.

Can't wait to see what Hawkeye, Widow, and Fury look like.

these dont look like 6inch more of 3.75 inch

warmachine6 07-22-2011 08:27 AM

really tbh i really hope for these not to be in six inch apart from cap , he looks alright, thor not as good as the other one , but might get him, i dunno depends on what sizes they are but like i said before looks 3.75 inch

nomad1632 07-25-2011 07:09 AM

hey guys is it just me or does it look like these figures don't have torso articulation?? I hope thats not the case cause that would be a huge step backwards for Hasbro in articulation cause I really like the costumes.

And I agree with the sentiment that 3.75 inch figures are better to collect then 6 inch their just cooler and I can display way more of them!

KEEP EM COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
