Thanks for all the support around here lately guys! It means alot!

I've been working lots of overtime, and my daughter is out of the school for summer so I haven't finished up a custom for a while...but I'm back with a big round of new work, I've got about 7 projects about to finish up and here's the first off the line: Megatron!

I began with the deluxe class tank Megatron from the "classics" two-pack. He was given lower arms from Armada Smokescreen, which have been modified to allow for a larger elbow movement range. The rail gun comes from Cybertron Thundercracker, and has two points of connection so that you can put the gun further back onto the tank if you prefer. Also a red jewel was added to the inside of the gun.

Then he was given the total paint treatment, using flat grays for the main body, washes to bring out detail, some light drybrushing and I really liked the movie-style glowing eye effect using translucent red over neon.
