The Amazing Spider-man!
You guys are in for a treat, came across these on www.comicbookmovie.com
I bring you. THE LIZARD! tehehehehe http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansit.../news/?a=42664 |
site wont load, but it might just be my PC. ;(
|
I think its your PC. Works fine on my end.
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansit.../news/?a=42664 Hopefully that will work? |
Worked for me, too bad its really hard to see anything. Kinda looks like its a scene from alien.
|
From what I can tell, I feel I and many other people will be pleased with The Lizard =D
|
UPDATE: The Lizard shown on a cheap looking remote control vehicle things!
Possible First Official Image of THE LIZARD Revealed in New Merchandise for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN |
Looks like total shit- hopefully that's some transition stage as he turns into full Lizard form.
|
Yea I'm not sure what to think. At one point in the comics didn't the Lizard look more humanoid than lizard?
|
Nope- he's always been a talking crocodile with a labcoat.

No hotlinking. - Toyark Staff. Looks more humanoid than lizard to meeeeeee |
Still more an alligator than the guy with Star Trek makeup depicted on that toy.
I take that back- Trek's lizard men looked way the hell better! |

But as you said, maybe it a a transformation stage and he just gets more...Lizardy. |
Women that smoke and get too much sun look more lizardy than that pic.
|
No hotlinking. - Toyark Staff.
So...I like the design and will get the action figure for sure...maybe. He is lacking something[s] though...anyone care to guess? They are kind of important... |

yarp! pants too..
Either way though, I at least hope the movie figure for Lizard is as articulated as the Spider-Man.. |
Not just genitals, but the Lizard always had a snout- usually a full out alligator head, but always something!
This guy is a Tosk with no clothes- No hotlinking. - Toyark Staff. |

Not really...still looks extremely humanoid. In interviews they said many times that they are basing it off of Ditkos Lizard. I would prefer less humanoid but whatever, Lizard is Lizard. |
I would still prefer more of a Killer Croc look, but at least they're using a cool character.
|
Agreed. It doesn't even look bad. Just hope the figure at least has a fabric coat or something. Or I will have to create one, somehow.
|
Dude- Look at that snout on the pic you linked- the movie version's face looks flat by comparison.
And really, if a 20 year old Star Trek episode can do better reptile-man makeup, the movie's cred just tanked for me. NIce claws though...I'll give them that. |

Electro would have been sooo much cooler- and Peter could have defeated him with science!
|
Must be my Canadian blood, but I don't see what on gods green earth you are talking about a snout, on either.
|
A snout would resemble a dinosaur more than a lizard, which would have been a reflection of the Spiderman cartoon, the recent figure in the 3 3.4 Spiderman line, and elsewhere.
