MOTUC Moss Man Flocking Issue

Masters Of The Universe Classics Moss Man Flocking Debate

Super_Megatron 08-13-2009 05:45 PM

Personally I think a partial flocking would look fine.

ludovicotek 08-13-2009 05:50 PM

I think that he needs at least some. Isn't the point of this line to represent the classic toys with modern aesthetics and articulation? I understand the problems that arise from all the joints but it would be a shame if they had to lose all the flocking.

Autobot_Goldbug 08-13-2009 09:48 PM

Isn't it possible to leave out the flocking at the joints??

dark69 08-13-2009 10:15 PM

partial flocking would be cool with me

soundwavempl 08-14-2009 01:13 AM

Partial flocking is the best way to go. Flocking is a must for this figure for me.

MegaPrime33 08-14-2009 04:52 AM

I agree. Partial is really the best way to go.

ooten 08-14-2009 06:14 AM

on this particular figure i would sacrifice articulation for flocking or partial flocking, its more of a collectors item than a toy atleast for me. Is the the two pics posted here prototypes cuz i like the 2nd head sculpt one with the mouth open better.

ghostdog0081 08-14-2009 06:15 AM

I agree, let the flocking fade out as it gets near the joints. He looks like a green beast man without it.

Enigma2K2 08-14-2009 08:46 AM

.. the hell is flocking? Sounds dirty...

trebleshot 08-14-2009 12:17 PM

I say partial or get the flock out (and take that weak Mossman with you).

....where did that come from? o.O

Flocking is the fuzzy stuff on him that makes Mossman feel like his namesake.

Cats Lair King 08-14-2009 02:58 PM

Partial Flocking for the First one I wouldnt like the limited movement and then maybe the next year a full Flocking because the flocking is cool. for a re-release as a Bonus figure or Club excl.

wolvie82 08-14-2009 03:08 PM

I think they should limit the articulation and make him with flocking. Keep the trend going with previous figures.

SternnessDUST 08-18-2009 03:04 AM

Flock on beard, chest, arms and legs! Manly!

Oh, and across the back of the shoulders, for that Real Manly.

Update on MOTUC MossMan Flocking Issue from Mattel

Optimus Scourge 09-11-2009 03:07 PM

Well the resounding response from the fans was that Moss Man must be flocked as much as possible. So, with that in mind, we are going to flock Moss Man as much as we can. It won't be a complete flock due to the joints, but we don't want to loose any of the awesome articulation either.
Sounds like a winner to me. I really like it when companies reach out to the fans and ask for input.

trebleshot 09-11-2009 07:13 PM

Yeah, it's always nice when we fans can give some input during the development stage. I think this is a great compromise, considering the nature of the character versus the physical limitations of the design elements.
