Colored Dr Strange
 

So my super sleuth skills *sarcasm intended* discovered the disbursement of this wave and I posted it in a thread last week, however, I will repost below in case someone isn't up to speed.

Hasbro sent out 2 differing cases for this MU wave.

Case 1:
Colored Dr. Strange
Regular Scarlet Spider
Skaar with stand "Skaar"
Falcon
Dr Doom

Case 2:
Astral Dr. Strange
Upside down Scarlet Spider
Skaar with stand "Son of Hulk"
Falcon
Dr Doom


Now it appears these are now being pretty evenly distributed by the large amounts of colored Strange's to be appearing on ebay. This was simply another Cable without Hope, Norman head Patriot, etc. scare. The Case 2 showed up much quicker than Case 1, and so no colored Strange's made every one cry wolf. I was almost a victim of this because I spotted the wave at 4 stores and every single one of them were Case 2. But I know others are finding only Case 1.

"Case" in point: Every day colored Strange drops a bit in price. We win in the end.

Just hold strong! Don't shell out high dollar for him. He'll come around. And I bet fellow arkers will surely be up for trading him around at cost + basic shipping once he does. I know I will to keep the scalpasaurus at bay!

raise up against the scalpers, i watch ebay to and they are dropping in price, i hope i score a colored dr off of big bad toy store,

I cancelled bbts order.. done with waiting.

I have all of the series with astral strange just sitting on my desk.

So I'll cancel bbts, save the $25 price difference since target has figures at 6.99 right now and buy a colored Strange on ebay for $20 tops eventually. I still win out.

Found one yesterday, along with Doom and Falcon. Was also the first time I've seen anything from that wave. Started getting worried for a bit.

It is old news indeed. But before I end up dropping 20 on ebay for colored strange, is anyone spotting them that doesn't want to keep a handful for themselves? I'd just like one to open and put with my avengers. The end

I think you should hold for a bit. Seems like he's started to pop up. I can't imagine the eBay prices will be going up, so if you don't find him by Sept then maybe go for eBay.

..I have all of this wave except for the Hispanic Strange, so I'm in the same boat as you; and that's my plan.

Yeah, it may be old news. Just thought I would bring it up since TRU had put out 2 cases of "case 2" this morning. There were 4 colored Dr. Strange figures on the pegs and the rest of the series.

We dont say "colored Doctor strange" anymore- we say "African-American Doctor Strange".

ironically, there was a "colored" doctor strange, Doctor Voodoo. On a serious note, id be pumped to get strange in order to finish off the core four members, minus nighthawk, of the Defenders:
Hulk
Silver Surfer
Namor
and finally, Doctor Strange

I only picked one up for myself, didnt know all you guys were looking for the the minority version. I just got back into MU so please forgive me lol.

Yeah, I already bought the clear version from eBay. I have a 5 pack ordered from BBTS but now I'm pissed because I've got no choice nor idea in which one I'll be getting and it's a 50/50 chance from what we're being told now. I barely wanted the clear version to begin with. If I end up with two, I'm going to be really irate. I don't know why BBTS doesn't just let us choose in this case because I'll more than likely just be shipping it back for a credit anyway if it's the wrong one or worse yet for them, cancel my order altogether.

If you dont want that clear strange maybe you can use it to trade for the colored one later on. Some guy from mexico was looking for someone to trade with. Maybe you can find someone here in the states.

I'll gladly buy the clear version from you.

hmmm that is weird the the clear one is the reg and the color is the variant hmmmm thats odd well when I get my order from BBTS i will find out which one I need to get tho.

The variant should still be the clear version. They should both be available in the same amounts, just different case packs. Being a variant does not necessarily make it more expensive or rare, see variant vision.

Lets see which one I will get from BBTS and then I will be on the hunt for the other one.

In Mexico the distribution of MU is to weird, never come variant figures in the boxes and in Collector stores this variants are to expensives, like Vision Phasing, unmasked Iron Patriot, Dark Miss Marvel, Death mask Archangel or Classic Havok, the price at this stores is $30 to $60 dollars.

You and me both. I got word from BBTS that my five original figures from this wave shipped today. I'll soon know which Strange to hunt or trade for. That's okay because I've not seen a Strange at all at my area stores. In fact, it was not until today that I've seen evidence of this wave, namely Falcon, Scarlet Spider, and Skaar, on the pegs.

I've got no interest in Scarlet Spider or Skaar so those will be on the trading block.

I thought I was going to skip Doom this time around, but I like having two different ones so that one can be a Doombot!
