The 2011 Central Canada Comic Con is still on! The event will be happening at the Winnipeg Convention Centre on October 28, 29, and 30, 2011!

You may have heard that Wizard World will no longer be holding a comic convention in Winnipeg in the fall. This is true, and Wizard World has pulled its involvement with the event.

However, the great team from River City Conventions will be holding the Central Canada Comic Con in their place, and it will take place on its previously announced dates: October 28th, 29th, and 30th, 2011 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre.

This year Star Trek is celebrating its 45th Anniversary and C4 is looking to mark the occasion with a bang!

William Shatner is the C4 2011 Guest of Honor! Please note that Mr. Shatner will only be at the convention on Saturday so plan out your weekend accordingly :)

Brent Spiner! Commander Data himself from Star Trek The Next Generation will be beaming into Winnipeg!

Other celebrity guests include Kevin Sorbo, Kate Vernon, Adrienne Wilkinson, Ethan phillips and Chase Masterson!

Comic and Artist guests include Michael Golden, Mark Texiera, Steve Scott, Rodney Ramos, Lovern Kindzierski, Ric Meyers and many, many more.

A couple new guest additions!

New Brand Wrestling will be performing all weekend long with 5 big wrestling shows including a costume battle royal!

In association with New Brand Wrestling, C4 is proud to feature both Bret "The Hitman" Hart and his nephew DH Smith as special guests on Staurday and Sunday at the Con!

The best there is, best there was and best there ever will be is coming to C4 this year! Be sure to meet him there!

A couple changes to the C4 guest list this past week.

Michael Dorn has unfortunatly had to cancel his appearance due to a scheduling conflict.

But......

Jonathan Frakes(William Riker from TNG) and Maria de Aragon(Greedo from Star Wars) have been added to the guest lineup!
