Is ToyArk helping spread the word on DCU Sub?

There have been updates and posts on Facebook from Mattel concerning the DC Universe Classics subscription. Action Figure Insider and the Fwoosh have been keeping fans up to date with multiple front page features (although they are beginning to sound desperate).

I haven't seen anything (nor could I find anything) here concerning the subscription since SDCC, aside from a single, brief sentence at the end of the look at wave 19. Did I miss something? I must say I expected more from the site that had the best SDCC coverage on the net.

If there are any more updates, keep us posted. The staffers could offer their opinions on the matter. Write a summary of what's going on. Post a link and/or news post featuring SaveDCUC.com. Anything. If nothing else, just post a reminder that we only have three more days to sign up!

I'm not asking for an overwrought essay or desperate plea, but something on the front page would be nice. I know it may not do much good. I know it's pretty much last minute. I know that they have extended the time limit twice. But who knows, there may be a few fans who rely only on ToyArk for their news, and don't visit other sites. We have a chance for a last hurrah. Please, help us get the word out, ToyArk!

Uhm, if you haven't been paying attention, there are several threads about the sub club. At least three.
In fact, ONE of them is on the front page right now.

And since you're unaware, it also seems by the tone of those threads, most people here seem to be against the club, and seem to think if it fails, they'll go back to retail.

Though it hurt dearly, I put in my subscription before the first deadline.

I am aware of the forum threads and the"Latest Discussion" sidebar on the home/front page. I'm talking about front page features or articles. News. There hasn't been anything at all concerning or focusing on the DC subscription, unless I am completely overlooking it. This is huge news for DC fans, whether it succeeds or fails. I'm just surprised that ToyArk isn't reporting on it, or at the very least keeping their readers informed with simple, basic updates.

There are plenty of reasons/possibilities as to why it may never go back to retail, but that's irrelevant to my point. I respect that the forum members here may not support the club, I am very unpleased about it myself, but that shouldn't be any reason to keep from informing readers of the front page.

My point is that there could still be people out there who can and would buy a subscription that are uninformed or undecided, and ToyArk is one of the outlets where those people could get the information they need. Not to mention this is an event that is important to many collectors, one way or another, and ToyArk isn't covering it.

I'm just confused, I guess.

I know what you're saying, but that's just not the way things work around here. Most people come here for the forums and we get our news that way. Things get front-paged seemingly at random. And I think most of us are just fine with that.

The only news that seems to really get posted here are press releases, sponsor updates, network website updates and the occasional gallery and custom.

I don't think I've ever seen anything else here -- I never expected Toyark to post an editorial or anything about the sub like other sites have since the front page here seems to be really limited without any sort of voice or opinion behind it, if you get what I mean. Just "XXX announces XXX here's some pictures and a price."

Hell, they don't really cover DCUC at all unless it comes from The Fwoosh.

Seems kind of 50/50, actually.
