For no other reason than because I saw him on the shelf today, got him at retail price, and love the figure!

Happy weekend, later!

Paxtin 08-19-2011 08:13 PM

I picked up this guy just recently. He is indeed a rather cool MU fig. Especially for the 5 bucks I got him for.

When you put him in the right light his blue paint has a nice sheen to it.

Tony_Bacala 08-19-2011 08:17 PM

Yeah, I am very impressed by the mold detailing and the paint apps on these latest waves of MU figures. Especially this one.

MasterSock 08-19-2011 08:33 PM

I want the BAF Apocalypse to put next to him, but i do agree he is a very well done figure wish his torso stretched out more.

Agree completely.

behindthemask 08-19-2011 10:34 PM

I have a complete baf Apocalypse, just need me the mini guy and the ml regular version lol.

Good Stuff 08-19-2011 10:36 PM

Very nice pics, I'm blown away from how clean the paint app is on your Apocalypse. Very nice....

Dylan in Oregon 08-20-2011 01:29 AM

Yeah, just found him over this last week (Target sale!) Great figure for sure!

Yah, that sheen is awesome; I don't like his shoulder pads though.

omega145 08-20-2011 04:39 AM

Ill be taking that pic of the BAF next to this. Easily top 10 MU figure in my book.

bmorr 08-20-2011 06:15 AM

Great figure! Although I kinda wish they painted on his classic "A" logo on his chest like every one of his incarnations had.

You need the BAF version, 5" X-Men version, 3.75" MU Version, 2" Diecast version and 1" Heroclix version- each one holding the next smallest fig.

You can have him fight Spidey doing the same thing! (sub the 10" Spidey for the BAF role, of course)

After he said his own name in the third person for the thousandth time, someone said "we get it already, jackass!" and everyone laughed so he took it off and got those hosey shoulder pads instead, not knowing that shoulder pads went out with the 80's.

He's got some awesome mutant powers but fashion sense is not among them.

Yes

bmorr 08-20-2011 08:36 PM

"Yes! we'll call it....the XFL!"

Shin Densetsu 08-20-2011 09:00 PM

I was very surprised to see that this figure had rocker ankles. One of the best MU figures so far. Thigh swivels are a must for me now too.
