If I were that guy, I'd just cancel the transaction and say the item was lost or damaged. It makes no sense to let it go for that price.

I bet this is what'll happen. Either that or he worked something out with the buyer so he'd save on ebay's commission.

Are you sure he didn't just end the listing early after receiving an offer from the buyer and decided to do the transaction outside of eBay? This happens a lot more than people think.

I wish I spotted that, I was looking at this guy's auctions list mayb 2-3 days ago, has some rare ML figures some baf's and some Marvel Icons figures I like all fairly reasonably priced. I feel bad for the guy if he does have to bite the bullet and sell it for $5, but hopefully the seller and him can work something out or ebay will help, as I would not let him go for less then $100 myself if I had 1, hell $50 is a steal, $5 is an "are you fucking kididng me "deal. I like the target exclusive 12'' MI silver surfer figure he's selling, nice figures.

$5 says if the auction did end up going for $5 the seller is going to jack the shipping to like $200 haha.

I recently won several auctions for really cheap recently for a large lot of figures and the seller sent me a cancellation request claiming that the items were no longer available. This happens often and it's a real piece of crap when it does. If you don't want to sell something for .01, don't start it at .01. Start it at the lowest amount you're willing to sell it for because there's a good chance that might be the only bid you get. Or set a buy it now. Stop being such a cheapskate. Sheesh.

Yeh I hear ya, hasn't happened to me yet but is very annoying especially if it's a sought after item you want for your collection, and you just wasted your time and effort for nothing and since you did 3 other items just like it just sold.

Looks like he ended the listing early for whatever reason. Maybe someone made him an offer or he ended it in fear it would not go for enough.. who knows. But that's my guess.
