My Toy Fair's Exclusive Figure
14 Attachment(s)
What's up Arkers?
Anyways, in about 6 weeks (exact date is October 16th) I got myself one of the best kind of fairs that can occur. A Toy Fair down in the city. Got to get up around 6:00 AM to be down there around 7:30 AM to get a nice spot in line for the 8:00 AM Early Bird opening. And what makes this one so special? Well I was considering buying this years Toy Fair Exclusive offered by CherryBomb Toys. It's Pretty Pricey though, it's $120 (That's for the preorder, if I don't preorder I have to pay $130) or $140 (Same preorder deal as before, preorder and save $10) to get the axes for the figure. The purple axe is only available for the first 50 Attendees, but since I'm doing the Early Bird I'm guaranteed to be one of those 50, so no worries there. But my main question is, is it worth it? I'll post pics and I'd appreciate fellow Arkers opinions. I think it looks awesome. Vehicle mode and Robot Mode (that's a hint to what it is... but if you saw the pictures then there's no surprise here). But IT'S PRICEY. By the time of the Toy Fair I can afford it... Parents won't be happy though. But oh well. But without any further ado, Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, the Knight Morpher Commander KM-01X - Victoria's Ultimate Hobby & Toy Fair AXE Exclusive P.S Here's the linkthe thread related to this topic on TFW. http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-...allery-173220/ P.P.S Just realized this thread should probably be in Action Figure and Toy General Discussion. My bad. |
That's a pretty sick figure!
|
Sweet train/transformer, part of me wants to desperatley paint the purple a battle damaged type silver, but then it is retro looking with the purple parts.
|
Don't do it!
|
The question of is it worth it comes down to you and how much you really want it. It does look pretty cool, but since it's not officially a TF, the resell value might not be there in the future. So if you buy it, you have to buy it for yourself.

Holly S that is sweet. IDK about the purple but man that is a nice piece. The prototype pics do not do it justice. It even covers several markets of TF fans and train afficionados.

u can pass on it, but you're a collector. somewhere dwn the line you gonna see another pic, or youtube reveiw or something to trigger that "damn i wish i would have got it." line in your brain. it happens to me alot (some figures i wont mention *warpath & deadpool 2pack* cough, cough) but it is pretty pricy tho. if u did get it i'd say dont open it

Shattered Glass, huh? It's a very nice looking figure, but not something I'd spend $120+ on. Although, I've spend 3 digits on a figure a few times in the past, so there's nothing wrong with splurging once in a while. I'm 33 though, so my parents aren't playing into my stupid financial wastes.
