MU Deadpool Unmasked
 

Seeing the few thread about making a bettter Deadpool with a Scarlet SPider prompted me to try... then I decided, rather than disembowling my XMO DP to finish it, I'd do all the accessories from scratch, and make it unmasked.

For the scarred-up face, I'm using The Doctor from GI Joe.
The swords and dagger things are from Storm Shadow.
For the black band on his neck, I'm using a section of a generic GI Joe strap accessory painted black.
I'm painting the Scarlet Spider wrist cuffs and ankle bags black.
The shoulder harness thingy is completely homemade from 4 separate GI Joe accessories.
Belt and holster are from that crappy Target 2-pack Punisher. I'll custom paint a Deadpool belt buckle for it.
Feet are from some Joe... no idea which. Same as the hands, both of which shall be painted red.

Updates won't be for awhile. Still waiting on black shoulder joints and some help from mys sister with paint... I have a very unsteady hand and the neat job on the body there is a fluke... totally messed up the back, and I'm feeling iffy about the other leg.

Funny...I did the same thing yesterday! I had bought two Dr's from Ross $3.99 each and just swapped the heads.

it seems like once together it will look spot on man.

Well... bad news is last week i slipped up and destroyed the body completely. Like, warped, cracked, snapped. So i ended up just modifying the comic pack one with the swivel hips.

Blue painter's tape- makes lines perfect and peels off with no residue.
Really helps in painting smll stuff nicely- my roommmate uses it on miniatures even!
