GL movie 2-packs clearanced at Wal-Mart
 

So.... there is a Wal-Mart in the St. Louis area with peg after peg of the Green Lantern 2-packs that come with a Lantern and a Guardian, and they're all clearanced out for $5. That isn't bad at all, I had to fight the urge to buy a few (as many of you already know, I am avoiding collecting for myself and choose to feed my habit by supplying others with reasonably priced plastic crack). I don't know if the Wal-Marts in your area are doing the same, but you might want to take a peek.

That's definitely a deal, hope that happens at my Wal-Mart, since they have a ton of these.

Seriously? Who runs this clearance crap? What about all the frickin' Iron Man 2 figs?! I ask the employees, "So, you think these are going on clearance anytime soon? They've only been sitting here for, like, TWO YEARS?!" *blank stares*

Iron Man 2 is clearanced here every other week. I'm not a big fan of the movie GL series. The articulation on most of them is dismal.

So I went into this same Walmart today, and they were marked down to $3. I caved and decided to pick up a couple, and they rang up as $2. Awesome. Tell me if this makes sense though.... the single carded ones are still $7+. There must be a contractual thing I'm not picking up on.

I'd buy them for $2. I don't even know why. I guess I'd want a bunch of little oans.

I bought them for the sole intention of having a few Guardians. They look cool too.

I saw that hte other day. They marked at 5 bucks here. If they get that low I'll need to pick them up. They might be clearancing them out to get the next 3 in the set, or if not, I'm worried the next 3 guardians will never see retail. xD

Mostly I just want Sayd. I do need to find a Krona though too(saw one at target, but wallet just wasn't feeling like coughing up the cash yet). I hope Ganthet still makes it to the shelf too though if he's planned.

Yeah those Guardians are the only figs I even would consider. It sucks they put them in delux packs. I'll check out my Walmart tomorrow.

at walmart, littleton, colorado, i found dc universe green lantern classics (collect and connect stel) for 5 bucks a piece. i also found bill foster and poser thor for $8.00 and toyman for $3.50. wish i could find zatanna for $3.50.

I wish I could find bad ass figures like Toyman for that price. Nice score.

My Walmart had no such sale. The DC section was ransacked. No new Joes or MU. :(
