Who do you guys use as your main team?

Mine is Wolverine, X-23, and Dante

I don't play this game anymore, but I am a Phoenix user :cool:

I am so disappointed that this game chose to release a new version of the game within the same calendar year...thats just greedy. I'll probably be suckered in buying Ultimate MvC3, but I will hate every minute of it lol

lol, I feel the same way. So I refuse to buy it. It's all stuff that could just be DLC and not a whole new game. I never bought Super SF4 either. I really don't play to much any either. I just popped it in for just goodness sake. I mainly play MK9 myself.

People pretty much said that if they release all the new characters as dlc its pretty much the same as the cost of the Ultimate MvC3....but still...I hate all these Ultimate, Super Arcade Edition, Super Duper Mega Edition, Ultimate Arcade Super Duper Mega Awesome version.... its ridiculous.

I haven't played that either in a long while either, as much as I love the game, Online play is terrible...I don't know how anyone can manage playing on there getting lag and disconnects...its bad...plus I've been swamped with school :(

Mine was Doom, Hulk, Deadpool.

I switch Dante with Doom from time to time

I liked Wolverine, Deadpool, Dante. But I was able to kick some ass with MODOK as well.

when i had the game my top A+ team was akuma deadpool and cap. i made a lot of ppl mad with cap

I was a 7th lord for a while when I was playing regularly online until the network got hacked. Haven't played since. But my main teams were in this order:

Weapon X: Wolverine (point), Deadpool, X-23 (cleanup)

Avengers: Cap (point), Thor, Iron Man (cleanup)

Dante (point), Magneto, Phoenix (cleanup)

My staple team was Dante, X-23, & Deadpool.

I don't play online, but the one time I did, I got my butt handed to me by some guy who used nothing but Hsien Ko doing low attacks REPEATEDLY, over & over (nothing else) along with Pheonix who also constantly kept doing that rebirth move. I quit after that. What happen to actually fighting in a fighting game? I just stick to fighting CPUs now.

Can't wait to add Vergil though (glad that Dan Southworth reprised his role too), but I can't justify buying a whole separate game for him. I hear that Ultimate wasn't really supposed to happen and the new characters were supposed to stream down monthly or so as DLC, but the quake/tsunami basically botched all that up.

Dude if you got knocked out by Hsien Ko's repeated low attacks I've got no sympathy for you. Phoenix can only resurrect once and needs to be at level 5 to do it. There are ways to counter both of these. Up your game, that's what fighting games are about.

I'll feel bad for you when you get stuck in a infinite loop (which is still difficult to put people in) or someone exploits a glitch in the game. But those mean you're just still novice and lack experience. Don't take that as an insult, I got my ass handed to me be some cheap tactics too until I got better and learned to counter 'em. Training mode time.

I heard that capcom was planning to release the characters from ultimate as a dl but that changed with the tsunami. It was easier for them to just release it as a disc which may be why its only 40 bucks.

My team is morgan, akuma, and cap.

I too bad they didn't have silver surfer. They could have had him use his board as a shield.

Cap, Iron Man, and Thor.

I use the button smashing strategy against my son and it works pretty well.
