Dead Island - a great time waster
 

So.... I am officially sick (damn you school/work/everyone else for exposing me to people and their ailments!) but I think I have found the perfect thing for today to get me through this, even though tomorrow means I have to write a paper, and take several online tests.... Dead Island! I'm not saying you should buy it (I wouldn't), but it is available through Red Box, which lets you reserve it online, so you can just pay a few bucks to play it. Anyway, I like it, it kind of reminds me of Dead Rising meets House of the Dead. Again, I wouldn't buy it, but it is an excellent game to rent and waste time on the cheap.

I was wondering about this game. Being a fan of first person shooters and the zombie genre I'd figure this would be right up my alley. How's the leveling system and is the action anywhere as good as say left for dead or call of duty?

I was never one of those guys, I dabbled, but couldn't get over spending so much time playing COD. I like this game so far, but I'm seriously implying that you or anyone else tries it out first..... for $2.... which is what Red Box offers. let me know what you think. By the way, Nazi Zombies was ok, and so was Left 4 Dead.

Im a huge zombie fanatic, i love em. And this game is amazing to me. Yeah its not perfect, but it's still worth the money in my opinion :)

Have yet to get it. It was between NHL 12 and Dead Island. I did what any sports loving Canadian would do...

Well I am sick again (damn you job and/or school for exposing me to the masses!) and I think I might go rent this game again. I also got Superman III from Netflix today, so I'll probably watch that as well.
