came into this thread to say the same thing. How is this worth 40 bucks?

The Deadpool set with 4 minimates is supposed to be 20 bucks, how can they charge $40 for a 2 figure set?

Kubricks have always been more expensive than Minimates. Single Kubrick figures regularly sell for between $20 - $40 individually when released (depending on the item and quantity).
