The "I had a dream" thread
 

Dreams are mysterious, interesting, and sometimes frightening. I want to hear about any dreams you guys have been having as they're always an interesting topic of discussion. Get this, last night I had a dream that my entire collection was destroyed by fire...and I remember after the fire saying to myself, well I guess it's time to start collecting Transformers. lol The interesting part about this is, at one time a friend and I collected transformers together, which means we consolidated our collection at his house and added to it as we could. At one point his house burned down, and with it went our entire collection. I should mention my friend had a complete collection of Beast Wars figures as well as some G1 stuff, I had alot of G1 stuff, alot of the first Michael Bay movie figures and quite a bit of the Transformers Animated figures. I haven't had the heart to collect Transformers since. So this was an especially weird dream haha.

So you had a dream about something that actually happened? I have toy related dreams about finding hard to find items. Never any disaster dreams.

The best are the recurring dreams that I can barely piece together. My personal favorite are the zombie dreams, moving around from place to place and often being closed in somewhere while fighting off zombies. Its awesome how im slightly scared while at the same time enjoying lopping zombies heads off. Ive also had dreams of being chased by zombies/monsters and waking up in sweats having to turn the lights on because the dream was too damn realistic. Sadly not any superhero dreams that I can think of at the moment. Where's my shrink when I need em??? :)

No it was more about my current collection going up in flames, and then for some reason after it was over I said to myself well it's time to start collecting Transformers. The thing with mine and my buddy's TF collection burning up happened a few years back. It was just weird considering what happened to my last TF collection....which was by the way a sweet collection which is why my heart isn't in Transformers anymore...because I know I'll never compile a collection quite like that. Did I say collection enough times in that paragraph? Hehe thanks again Omega, I like to try to contribute to the community in any way I can.

The last dream I remember:
I was taking my mother to a halloween party, and I was dressed as my Grandfather dressed as Arthur Dent. Can't figure that one out.

And as we were leaving, directly over our house was the biggist, black tornado forming. Three smaller tornadors were spiralling down out of the sky merging into one. And behind us about a half a mile, was another one. Both were at least EF3.

...I hate tornado dreams.

I used to dream about finding ancient stashes of G1 transformers in old stores. And those were nightmares in and of themselves. Because I would be soooo elated and happy... and then my stupid alarm would go off and I'd wake up to reality.

I have tornado dreams frequently, I think it's because I'm so terrified of them..I've never actually experienced one before and I hope to never be in one.

Recent dream involved some hand to hand combat with my Mirror Universe Doppleganger.....fought hand to the point he had me at the edge of a ravine while a Storm's raging.....choking me when I managed to grasp his shoulders and manage to vault over him while I ended up changing form somewhat with cat ears and a Tail kicking him over the edge.

We had a long hand to hand fight, kicking punching in Judo and Kung Fu type moves till he pulled out a Knife when we got to towards the edge of a ravine.

Course had just kicked a knife from his hand that he was going to thrust into my throat,still he was surprised when I managed to vault over him in a flip and Kick him off the Ravine falling screaming towards the rocks below.

Just a good sense of victory there watching him fall cursing me while screaming and a resounding THUD when he hits the rocks.

Been fighting that Doppleganger the last couple days.

Looks like I finally won....now time to get back to my relaxing dreams of sitting back relaxing usually on a beach.....that or it's back to taking financial advice from the Grand Negus.....[which is kinda odd at times he'll appear in my dreams giving me advice on how to operate a business or dealing with business transactions and the best types of investments! and WHERE's MY BEETLESNUFF!!!]

A few nights ago I had the power of the Hulk in my dream.

I was trying to get through a door, but there were gypsies trying to stop me.

One of the gypsies looked like a girl I had a crush on in grade school.

The gypsies would throw darts at me and the like. One of them blew poisonous gas at me, but I blew it back at them and they inhaled it.

I woke up before I could get through the door and it was time to get ready for work.

i dont really dream about toys but i do often have dreams where i can fly... but always find it difficult to fly in the dream. i never really get very high up but i can go quite fast!!

Whoah, me too. I'm sure it means something but can only guess what.

i think it just means that we are comic books fans, and wish that we could fly like all the super powered folk! LOL

I dreamed I finally got some of the items I bought off of some Arkers in the mail. I will soon find out of this dream came true...

I always have that small soldiers/toy story dream where I wake up middle of night to find myself a glass of water, and long and behold an epic battle to my right, 50 iron man figures kicking the shit out of everything lol.

I had a dream once where I was having a gunfight in an old European train station... To this day I will never understand it. But I was wearing one hell of a smart suit while it happened.

Sadly my dreams are all set in reality. Nothing really mystical.

Had an odd "daydream" so to speak earlier today when I was pulling out the A-Team movie van off the shelf and dusting it off and the bumper that's a piece of crap fell off it.....

pretty much could hear BA Going "YOU BROKE MY VAN FOOL! I'M GONNA BUST YOU UP!" Course the shoddy side door on it fell off and he got madder, course Hannibal telling him to back off that I'll put it back not to mention him telling me he'd beat me up.....one of those odd day dreams that basically puts you there you know....I mean actually breaking Mr. T's van in reality.....I'm screwed if that happened...not sure how far I could run or if I would stand there while BA Goes batshit rage and KO's me.

Yeah...I Know it's crazy.... Dreaming about breaking BA's Van while standing infront of him....."I'm gonna beat that sucker Hannibal!"

My brother reminded me of recurring dreams I have. I constantly have dreams that I (often others as well) are trapped in parking structures being chased/hunted by different creatures. So far its been werewolfs, little girls, Zombies, & Xenomorphs. Thankfully never at the same time.

Oh Irony at its finest I cant sleep because I watched this then had a nightmare about it !!!then as I type this the kid on the movie on says "I wasn't having a nightmare!"

I had a dream, where this one random person who I have never met in my life, said something to make me snap. This is what happened, to him. Either I got some anger issues, or I have been playing waaaaaaaaaaay to much Gears of War...
