Is there a quick fix for marvel univrse legs?

I'm wondering if there's a way to fix these ridiculous legs that all the MU seem to have.

I recently picked up scarlet spider, and to my dismay his legs fell off, one stays on fine, the other just seems too big for the socket and frees itself, is there anything I can do to fix this?

I remember seeing someone use a G.I.Joe leg piece for a fix, a while ago, but is there a trick with sticky tack crazy glue, or whittling a hole?

I don't want to exchange him really, but I may have to.

Any customizing tips? Tricks? Anything?

Thanks in advance.

wrote this on the marvelous news forum but might help. i usually try this first before resorting to glue or dremel.

heat up some water in a microwave, not scalding hot, just hotter than warm. like maybe a mug of water for a minute and 40 seconds. dunk the problematic thigh in but not too long. just long enough so the plastic gets a little pliable. then you can squeeze the peghole into shape and dunk it in cold water to speed up the cooling process. pop it back onto the hip to test it out and hopefully it stays on pretty well. the technique also works for bending parts back into shape if the packaging messed it up. essentially you're bringing the plastic back to "default settings" since they weren't cast all funky and usually it's the packaging that screws toys up by putting stress on parts for however long they were imprisoned.

first off i would do what is posted above, MU figures all seem to suffer from the "plastic memory" issues when they are first taken out of package to a degree.

if that fails me then i go to step two and use a coat or two of future floor polish for loose ball joints. it adds a layer of acrylic plastic to the joint beefing it up. best of all if it doesn't seem to work out you can just wash it off with hot water and an ammonia based cleaner like windex. you wont risk permanently damaging your figure like you would with other similar methods

Noodle, Name, thanks for the help, I may have hope for this spider yet!
This ought to fix his leg. If not I'll try the future floor waxer, to stregthen his joint hold.
Again thanks for the help, guys.

I noticed my darkhawk's left leg is bowed a bit below the knee.

To keep the leg on you can put superglue on the ball joint, put the leg in to form it and then take the leg off immediately. Let both dry completely and reattach the leg. Shouldn't pop off or be loose ever again.

I tried this once with a joe, it disintegrated the plastic, is there a specific brand?

Easiest fix involves a hair dryer and your freezer.

My Commander Rogers figure's leg would fall off if I raised it too high. So I took my blow dryer and heated his leg until the plastic was pliable and pushed it back onto the peg and placed him in my freezer. About five or ten minutes later the joint was secure and ready for posing. Also works for warped and bent parts and accessories.

Just did this for Rogers, Cyke, and Scarlet Spidey...worked like a charm! Thanks for the tip.

Wowza, no specific brand but I have never had that happen.
So um not the brand you used I guess ;)

What about stiff knee joints, My ultimate caps bottom knee joint isn't budging.

Warm water. Leave him in for like 5 minutes, and try to turn the joint while the bugger is under watur.

Blowdryer, hold in shape, cold water. Sooo many of my MU figures have been like that. :(
