Iron man 2 mandarin question

I have a madarin ironman 2 fig moc with a manufacturing defect his butt is facing forward instead of back with legs facing forward does this increase or decrease value

M3T4L V1KING 10-04-2011 09:12 PM

It makes it one funny looking figure.

Peteparker 10-04-2011 09:19 PM

I'd say decrease. You'd have to find someone who wanted it that way...

Tiberius 10-04-2011 09:22 PM

Curious, does Mandarin not have a waist swivel?? I'll buy it for a dollar if he has a waist swivel...

DogFashionDisco 10-04-2011 09:40 PM

Open it up and fix it. C'mon man, you should know that there is no such thing as a valuable error these days. If anything, it screws you over.

Jason Abbadon 10-04-2011 09:44 PM

If anything it's worth less- a defect is just that.
Variants are usually worth more but defects are almost always worth less- I had a Human Torch from the SW comic pack with two left hands- now that was a glaring defect!

I had to do surgery with a hapless Showdown Torch....

yeh I'd say open it, or keep it moc but don't go asking $200 on ebay because mandarin can use the power rings on his own ass and watch it, lol. The only thing that draws big $$ would be prototypes, or complete packaging errors like a barbie doll in a MU GB box set lol.

Do Boy 10-04-2011 10:47 PM

I wouldn't say it's worth anything

Lol, you can tell by my post that time spent in deep thought wasn't shown, but you get what I'm leading 2, straight up error packaging from the factory can be valuable.

It can be to the right person, I for one could care less unless of course it was the mentioned GB Barbie pack straight form the factory and not a repack, how would you explain that one?

I can see it now
