Definitive Marvel Universe Store Hunting List
Does the Walmart Neighborhood Market sell toys? Do they carry the Marvel Universe line?
I've seen some DC and Thor figures at both Walgreens and Smith's (Grocery store), I'm just wondering if this store should be on my hunt list. Has anyone made a definitive store hunt list for MU characters? If it's beyond Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, and Ross, that's more than I know of. (As far as I've heard, no one has ever found anything at Marshall's). |
Grocery stores occasionally carry Marvel Universe - in the South, they are sometimes at Kroger.
|
I work for a Kroger offshoot, but most of our suburban stores don't seem to carry anything. I saw Infinite Heroes and MU at one of the bigger ones once, but that was it. =/
Rite Aid pharmacies. The figures cost a bit more than they should, but rare ones pop up there sometimes and it's still cheaper than ebay. |
CVS and stop and shop
|
bennys, stop n shop, no walgreens or rite aid or cvs in my area carries marvel products.
|
I have found some at Bi Mart and Fred Meyers but nothing fantastic

Found the Daredevil variant at a CVS once. Was like wtf?? It was the ONLY figure they had. Very random.

I've seen Thor figures at Rite-Aid. It's a drug store.

Superstore for us Canadians.

I picked up my Constrictor and long wing Archangel at a CVS pharmacy. Price was steep, but gas saved equalized it.
That IM2 wave has been at Tuesday Morning stores. I picked up a Comic Whiplash there. When I was on vacation in New Mexico they had IM2 figures (Mandarin, and a random movie armor) and the Deadpool/Taskmaster & SilverSamurai/patch two packs at a grocery store called Albertsons. We have them down here in FL too but I haven't seen any MU or 3.75 Marvel figs here yet. Of course Ross is hot right now for that final IM2 comic series wave. |
I know someone who has great luck finding MUs and GI Joes at Ralphs grocery store. I think that may be a cali only store though :/

So I need to try the Rite Aids, CVS's, and Albertsons now as well. (Since I'm in New Mexico). We have Walgreens all over the place, but the first one I checked only had one Thor figure. Sad. |
H.E.B. has toys.
|
In California, some Lucky's carry MU, but definitely not all of them.
|
It's weird that you guys keep finding MU in grocery and drug stores, because that has never happened to me. Also, we really need to stop calling them "drug" stores. It confuses the poor drug addicts.

Sadly however, I paid the premium "druggie store" price of $10.99 I think that's their default price for cool toys. I've seen some Scout class TFs there for the same price. |
