Best Gizmo Ever!

I'm a huge fan of Gremlins, classic movies that will always have a place in my heart, I don't have a collection of them by any means just a few old vhs tapes and an old Gizmo figure. I was surfing through auctions on ebay and came across this, limited edtion 1/1 scale, it's awesome!!! if I had the extra $$ I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Medicom Gremlins Gizmo Vinyl Art Toy 12" Figure 1:1 Prop Size 3Ship | eBay

ElekTriC 10-10-2011 01:51 AM

wow that looks really good :D love the fur he has and he looks cute! but the price! damn to high

Fortune 10-10-2011 01:53 AM

Thats not just a collectable. Thats a work of art.

BlackMagnus 10-10-2011 01:38 PM

Something about that is just...off. I think it's the shape of the head and mouth, looks to simian. Like if Bigfoot had a Mogwai love child. The size is awesome, the price, not so much. I'm happy with my NECA Giz.

Im not a fan of the Neca Gizmo. He looks kinda ....stoned.

Do Boy 10-10-2011 01:50 PM

Damn that is amazing. But that is one expensive little bugger

CLASSIFIED 10-10-2011 02:09 PM

I had a stuffed Gizmo when I was a kid.

He made a noise when you shook him up and down.

I used to hug the shit out of that little guy.

He got pretty gnarly by the time I was done with him.

Why does that sound so very dirty. Does anyone remember Furby Gizmo. That thing was cool. I have the Furby E.T though.

I'm too old to remember Furby Gizmo, and it sounds so very dirty because it was. But not just dirty, it was filthy as well.

Is there anyway to pose their eyes to make them look less high?

Lol, I just posted on that in the Gremlin news thread haha. Yea, there is a trackball in the back of their head to articulate the eyes. It's a really neat gimmick, not so much on George though, his eyes are so squinty it's hard to even tell.

Thanks Ludo, that means a lot to me. It's really nice to have been welcomed into your guys community with open arms.

Don't forget that the Gremlins series 1 will be out this month, I know you can't wait for those either!

Dude, you're an awesome contributing member on these forums. You always post great pics and news for upcoming toys. Your participation definitely makes this forum better.

And I already have them pre-ordered at BBTS. :) That's my back-up plan in case I don't see them at retail.

Thanks again man, truly appreciate it.:)

Good idea with that, I just happened upon the Mogwai in TRU, they didn't even have a shelf tag up for them yet lol.

Tyjos Azari 10-12-2011 07:23 PM

Meh,give me my old plush Gizmo any day -I got him stowed in the closet away from bright light, just like the instructions on him say-

sure this new one might look more detailed and cool, I like the plush one better.

Still looks cool, Gizmo's a cool guy.

ElekTriC 10-13-2011 07:57 AM

wow nice photo's :D cant wait to have mine in had. orderd them from amiami so i need to wait till late oct..

BlackMagnus 10-13-2011 05:26 PM

^Thank you sir! Rambo Giz looks like he means the bizness lol.

Fortune 10-14-2011 03:29 PM

I cannot wait for rambo gizmo! I swear rambo gizmo is gunna force me to buy the SDCC version.

BlackMagnus 10-14-2011 03:48 PM

^Unless your really attached to the sunglasses and carry bag, I don't see a difference between him and the regular version. I'd say save the money and just hit your TRU.
