But we can both agree it will the best movie called Avengers...

provided it is better than the movie with Ralph Fienes and Uma Thurman.

I don't remember much about that movie. But I do remember it didn't keep my attention for that long.

Except while I was doing back-flips at the the last Batman movie trailer this one leaves me concerned that the trilogy curse of the third movie sucking will happen (like Blade, Aliens, The Godfather, etc. pick a genre, any genre).

IMO I think that only happens because most of the time the director doesn't really care anymore because he knew he hot his money and was able to stay for three movies. And also gives them a reason to reboot the series later on if Hollywood runs out of ideas lol

But in Nolan's defense. He did want to stop after Dark Knight because he didn't think he could top it.

I'm just as excited for the new Batman as I am The Avengers flick, but it's going to be tough to top that last one (for me) with Ledger.

Great trailer, thanks for sharing. With Avengers, Batman and Gijoe 2 , 2012 is going to be a big year. I really hope I can be more selective with my toy purchases.

Loki was the main bad guy in the Avengers show. Maybe they are aim towards the kids.

I'm kind of assuming there will be more villains for the "not-Thor" Avengers to deal with. Isn't Thor the only one who can really handle Loki? I love Cap and all, but I don't see him as a threat to a god.

this looks wicked. not sure why stark says they cant save the world? thats a shame.. but like he says, atleast they can get some avenging done.

Boombatty what NIN song is it? the one at the end of the trailer? ive never heard of NIN, is that an acronym??

with this coming out in may, we should be seeing the figures on ebay around march i reckon.

the song is called "we're in this together" off the fragile cd.

Great trailer. I like what I've heard of the dialogue and I'm really looking forward to the movie.

That movie didn't exactly set the bar very high, so I think Marvel's Avengers has a shot.

Loki was the reason for the formation of the Avengers in the comics. So the movie is actually being comic-accurate in this respect. And from what I've heard, there is another threat besides Loki...

As for using Dr. Doom, the movie rights to his character are still owned by Fox (along with the rest of the FF characters), so Marvel wouldn't be able to use him even if they wanted to, at least not yet.

Thor is easily tricked by Loki, so the other Avengers can help Thor see past the tricks and illusions. Kinda lame, but they do serve a purpose.

I'm sure there will be mid level and street level villains for everyone to battle. Not a huge Mark Ruffalo fan (Banner) but my God looks like they got Hulk right! Very amped for this flick!

The teaser looked phenominal, though I am more excited for TDKR, simply because I'm such a Batfan. But these I have a feeling will be two of the best movies of the genre but for different reasons.

It's like you go to your favorite fast food joint and get a burger and a milkshake. Both are really awesome, but came from the same place, but you can't really compare them.

Either way, summer 2012 will be the best ever.

This movie is going to be epicly awesome.

Looks like the triangle chest ironman will be the dominant one, but I wonder if the round unibeam design will also be used at some point. This explains the figure we saw packaged before having the triangle unibeam instead of the round on the prototype way back at SDCC.
