2010 Star Wars Lego
FBTB.net is reporting that the first Star Wars Lego sets for 2010 are now known:
Lego 8084 – Star Wars Snowtrooper Battle Pack Lego 8085 – Star Wars Freeco Speeder Lego 8083 – Star Wars Rebel Trooper Battle Pack Lego 8086 – Star Wars Droid Tri-Fighter Lego 8087 – Star Wars Tie Defender Lego 8088 – Star Wars ARC-170 Starfighter Lego 8092 – Star Wars Luke's Landspeeder |
Snowtrooper Battle Pack??? That rocks!
|
Recently saw some decent photos of some of the SW sets they're releasing next year, and most of them don't look that bad.
Already got a bit of a to-get list: -Rebel Trooper Battle Pack -Snowtrooper Battle Pack -Imperial Speeder Bike -Luke's Landspeeder -Wampa Attack -Slave I The Clone Turbo Tank set interests me, but only because of the Aayla Secura mini figure. I'm hoping it gets released in a smaller, and much cheaper, set at some point. |
I saw the rebel hoth battle pack at TRU this past weekend
the freeco speeder is sweet too. hoping to get a tie defender the luke speeder looks to be a release with the addition to stormtroopers |
I have a question for those that have bought the Rebel Trooper and Snowtrooper Battle Packs. Do they cost $11? From what I know that's what their supposed to cost, but I read recently that they cost $15. Though that was at TRU, so a price mark-up there makes sense. Anybody know if K-Mart's prices for Lego's is higher than other places? I plan on going there in the next two weeks, and I'm not sure if they'll cost more there than at Target.

Just went to K-Mart for lunch today and the Battle Packs are $10.99 each.

Yeah they retail for $10.99. The best thing to do is go to the Lego store to see what MSRP should be.

Yeah, MSRP is just that - Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. Retailers are free to charge as much or as little as they think their customers are willing to pay for a given item.
K-Mart and TRU tend to mark up items a lot, while Wal-Mart likes to do the opposite (most of the time). Target tends to float somewhere in the middle, either at or just below MSRP. The most ironic part for me is when the toy's "regular" price is marked up and then goes "on sale" at the MSRP price. |
Recently saw the Snowtrooper pack at my local Target and couldn't resist picking one up. Being a huge LEGO fan I think I'll have to pick up the Rebel pack to have some real fun.
