Ultimate Magneto Question
 

So, right off the bat, I'm going to say if there's a thread like this just send me over there and we can do a fancy merge or something.

Anyways, here's my questions, does the new MU Ultimate Magneto have a variant? I've been seeing pictures of one with bare hands and another one with purple gloves. I haven't seen the one with purple gloves MOC though so it could be a custom or something. Any confirmations?

Mine are bare hands. I don't think there is a variant for that one.

Even fist are better then gun hands on good ol magnus.

and it is not like they had to make a special mold or anything. use the hands from all the spiderman molds out there that have a fist and a open hand.

Just another case of toy companies making really...really bad design decisions.

what about the Tony Stark/ Iron Man nameplate variant...does that truly exist? Why not? Cheapest/easiest way to make a variant. Seen it more in the last 3 waves than in the entire collection. (Skrull?)

Yes they exist. I have both. I looks to be (at least in my case) Tony Stark plate comes packed with the metal version absorbing man. Iron Man name plate comes packed with the skin version absorbing man

Is it even worth it to have a fig just for the name on the stand? Most of my figs get opened & I rarely have room for the stands in dios so I don't even see it, nor do I care if the right person is on there stand. Is this just a completest mentality? Unless the fig is actually different in sculpt, paint or accessory I do not see the point in obtaining it. It's more like a fun fact rather than a varient.

I hand swapped magneto's bare hands with the sw one. I did that because I felt that magneto needs open palm hands. I thought I said that in the discription. Apologies for using my fantomex misdirection powers. As far as I know, there is no variant magneto. I've already custom painted his face do the shading is done right. I'm looking for an open right hand so magneto will have the right look.
