MU Firelord
 

Here is my third MU custom. None other than Pyreus Kril, better known as FIRELORD, my favorite of Galactus' heralds. As always, your feedback and comments are most welcome.

The recipie I used is:
-Head- MU Flame On Human Torch
-Body- MU Iron Spiderman (filled in and sculpted over the back holes)
-Right Hand- MU SW Reed Richards
-Staff- ROC Arctic Threat Storm Shadow
-Staff Ends- MU Classic Mrs. Marvel power blasts
-Full repaint on everything

Nice! I really like the wash on him. This fig needs to be made hasbro.

I don't have any feelings on Firelord (due to my lack of knowledge of the character) but this is a truly professional looking figure. :) Awesome Job!

I actually try not to use washes when I can avoid it. I try to use layers of highlights instead of washes when I can. On this one the only placed I used a wash was on his yellow "onesie" suit.

Never heard of Firelord but your rendition of him is spot on. Great Job!!

He was a Herald of Galactus, i think there was an episode on Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer cartoons of the 90s.

Used to love Firelord in the 80s- 90s.. havent seen him around since Spidey gave him the "Christmas Story" beat-down (Cap had to pull Spidey off..LOL)

The figure looks great.. I would have liked more of an orange wash on the body rather than a tanish brown.. but other than that.. awesome!!

For a truly classic Ron Lim style Firelord maybe Gladiator? just brainstorming out loud

Okay, you're not allowed to make any more customs. Halfway through looking at your pics, I think that it's an actual MU figure I'm looking at, then I'm sorely disappointed when I realize that it's a one of a kind figure that I'll never own. LOL.

Lol! Ill try to keep my customizing to a minimum from now on :-)

I was just thinking today that it would be awesome if MU made a Firelord figure. They can just use that as an example!

Nice work, very nice wash details and the flame staff is nice. Would be awesome if you could rig an led on it, but still awesome none the less.

Very cool!....gotta try one now! Maybe I'll go with the Annihiliation look instead!
(which should be easy since he looks just like Flame On Torch!)

Thanks Jason! I would love to see you do an Annihilation version. I debated doing that myself but in the end I went with the classic look because that's how I normally think of this character.
