Hi all, i have some pictures to show of Shockwave DOTM variants..i'm a big fan of him, hope more are made.
i have the normal version , toys r us here /japan version and the canadian version i think is right and the small version too..enjoy

Tiberius 10-21-2011 09:22 PM

Whoa, Canada has their own version? Post pictures of each one with where they are from, that would be awsome =3.

BlackMagnus 10-21-2011 09:24 PM

Cool sculpt but, all that drab, grey plastic on the repaints kills it for me.

ElekTriC 10-21-2011 09:29 PM

yeah the sculpt is nice but i prefer the original one

LXL_Guy 10-21-2011 09:31 PM

Nice to see but I'll just stick to my original release one.

Agreed. I was unaware Canada got it's own version... seems unnatural to me. The only one I've ever seen is the normal one.

Ya know with some parts swapping, one could have themselves a Shackwave...

YES!! ^^

I was wondering about the one I saw in TRU the other day, I thought it looked different... Comes in a 3-pak with Voyager Prime and Bumblebee, right?

wildbill75 10-23-2011 07:38 AM

darkspeed..yes thats the one in toys r us and i think it's the same one from japan too...i got all them shockwaves for $16.00 each with shipping from ebay

Optimus Vader 10-23-2011 08:25 AM

Cool comparison photos. I think he's one of the better DoTM toys. The first release, in all purple, is the best one in my book.

D00MTR0N 10-23-2011 09:37 AM

awesome,they look badass.

Lody666 10-23-2011 10:26 AM

Eh

Inverted colors

Not real original

Yup, not sure which one comes in the pack though (off the top of my head atm), they look so damn similar.

Heres the pictures of which shockwave goes to which box...

Darkspeed 10-24-2011 07:09 AM

Oh yeah, that's the one I saw... Don't remember the Bumblebee looking that good, but I'd definitely say no to the Prime with it! ^^;

That Prime mold is easily the worst in a very long time, such a huge step backward from the Battle Blades figure.

Yeah, the new Voyager prime is pretty tacky looking and especially with the bland paint job on this 3-pack. But on the whole, I've been disappointed with the DOTM line... there's been one or two choice figures, but the majority of them have been pretty bad compared to the ROTF line.

plus selection and distribution has sucked hard with this line.

I like the last one that you have pictured. One of the last few Movie figures Id actually want.

Yea that's the first release and by far the best looking.

scarecrow 10-31-2011 09:23 PM

I want to like the Shockwave variants, but it seems like they just threw together a bunch of different colors, with no coherent color scheme in mind for them, especially in the case of the TRU variant.

Off subject, can you explain to me what this man's crotch is doing to that poor bear?
