Hulk (Mutating) & Bruce Banner

From the Movie hulk line is this set any good?
What is the articulation like, and is it in scale (bruce 3/75") and (hulk 6/00")

http://static.productreview.com.au/p...ating_hulk.jpg

Is it a good set to buy?
(I found it cheap online)

Tiberius 10-24-2011 10:43 PM

Do it, if it is cheap, nothing to lose. Hulk will go great with your movie line, and Banner, thats a bonus.

Do you have it?

Tiberius 10-24-2011 10:45 PM

Nope, passed on it at Toyfair [30 bucks, hahaha NO]

Boba Fettuccini 10-24-2011 10:46 PM

From what I understand the Mutating Hulk is just a hollow shell and has no articulation

Oh it looks like arm but thats it.

Snowflakian 10-24-2011 10:56 PM

The banner figure is the keeper here. The hulk figure itself is lacking in any real articulation. If it's cheap enough, I'd say do it just for the banner figure, then try and find movie hulk figure from the norton movie line. One of those hulks has been my main green hulk since MU started. I passed on the rest except for other characters like Red Hulk and so on. I love the massive scale difference the green hulk gives me to the rest as a real imposing figure.

I'm looking on NZ's version on Ebay and don't want grey hulk and those are the only 2 on there.
But I will pass on it and keep looking who agrees?

Fortune 10-24-2011 11:01 PM

Id pick it up if I saw it dirt cheap

deadpool 10-24-2011 11:03 PM

That would be like the max Id pay seeing really I would only be interisted in the Bruce.

deadpool 10-24-2011 11:07 PM

Anybody have any pics of it?
And I want it more for the hulk as I think MU hulk is too small.

Nope, but Google does.

No hotlinking. - Toyark Staff

If you want an MU hulk, don't get this one. It has arm articulation and that's all. And the Bruce figure is kinda... suckish.

I'm repaining that Grey Hulk into the most ultimate Green Hulk of all time in MU scale!
He's big, but has great articulation- one hand oven opens with a spring closing action.

Cool is it easy?

Jason Abbadon 10-24-2011 11:33 PM

I only have the green basecoat so far- I keep getting pulled into other projects!
I'll try drybrushing the damn thing, but I sorta hate that on a big scale...maybe just for highlights.

A non articulated hulk and a cheap looking generic Bruce banner? Very easy pass in my book.

warmachine6 10-25-2011 05:21 AM

personally i passed on all these hulk figures cause of lack of articulation espically with these figures i hope that the avengers movie doesnt diasspoint with a hulk figure
