The Central Canada Comic Con(Formerly the Manitoba Comic Con) is going to take place October 30th-November 1st, 2009 at the Winnipeg Convention Center.

This is the fourth year of the event and it keeps getting bigger and better each year. This year the Central Canada Comic Con is going guest list is shaping up nicely.

Guests slated to appear this year are:
Adam West, Julie Newmar, Dirk Benedict, Peter Mayhew, Bob Layton, Howard Chaykin, Honky Tonk Man, and Marv Wolfman. Plus many, many more........

As usual the CCCC, or C4 as it will be known, is bringing back its popular features from previous years including:
The "Batmobile"(This years featured vehicle)
150 plus Dealer Tables
Video Room
Anime Room
Gaming Area
Costume Contest
Social
Wine & Cheese with the Stars
Celebrity Panels, Presentations and Question & Answer sessions.

As well there will be special attractions for children as well like face painting and balloon atists as well as pictures with Gremlins and Ewoks for a small fee.

Many of our costumed visitors would be more than happy to allow you to take pictures with them for free as well. All one needs to do is ask! Past years have included costumed guests from the Star Wars 501st Legion, including very exact versions of Storm Troopers and Boba Fett!

A weekend pass for the event is only $20 and will be available through Ticketmaster starting April 1st. Tickets will also be available at Collectors Stores throughout Winnipeg as well. Single day passes will be available as well.

The Weekend Pass includes admission to to all three days of the event, including the special preview night Oct.30th.

Event Times are:
Friday October 30th- 5pm-9pm(With purchase of weekend pass only)
Saturday October 31st- 9am-6pm
Sunday October 2nd- 9am-6pm.

There is also a pre-Con social on September 26, 9pm-2am. Tckets for that event will be $10.

So we're a month out from C4 and things are coming together nicely.

In addition to the Batmobile, Ecto-1 from the Ghostbusters will be in attendance as well.

A huge Street Fighter Four Tournament will be happening at the Con, hopefully the largest in Canada as well as the two huge costume contests!

Former Marvel and DC Artist Rodney Ramos has been added to the Artist Alley List this week.

As well the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club has confirmed they will be invading C4 this year.
