My First Custom: MGS Raiden

Hey everyone, thanks for looking. This is my first custom action figure, as the title states. When I started I wanted to try my best to make a faithful MGS4 Raiden custom, but being a novice, when I started to it I realized it was a big undertaking. So instead, I took advantage of the really well done Reactive Armor and painted up something of a hybrid of 2 and 4. Here goes:

For now I consider this complete, but I may add sheaths to his belt later.

This came out really awesome. Incredible job for your first custom. I'm impressed. What head did you use? Now you need a Solid Snake to go along with him. How about a naked Raiden variant? :D

I got the head from here:

I also got a Naked Snake/Big Boss Head, but it's huge, almost Breaker sized, so I haven't gotten to making the body.I may not customize one at all, and just use the new Airborne(a.k.a. Rollbar) body.

A naked Raiden variant would be hilarious. That part of the game is really great.. But I had enough trouble getting the right gray-ish skin color for his face, I'd hate to have to do it for the whole body:D

Thanks for the kind words Ludo, glad you liked it!

Awesome job man, Iv seen alot of peoples first custom including my own that dont come out half as good. Thats a great job for any # custom, let alone your 1st. I hope you continue to make more because this is a great job!

Nice job, man! My first custom was pretty crappy, but yours is nice! :)

Thanks guys! I'm glad you all like it. It definitely gives me more confidence when it comes to doing more customs.

Awesome job, if you get some more free time I wouldn't mind you adding a trenchcoat so he's ready to duel with Vamp and the Gekkos.

Thanks man! It definitely crossed my mind to do a version of him with the trenchcoat(and maybe sans arms!)

I think a ROC Cobra Commander figure's upper torso would work very well to do such a thing.
