Do you believe in ghosts?
 

A take on the Alien thread.. as the titles asks.. do you believe? Have you seen or heard or otherwise encountered anything you cant explain or dismiss?

I have a couple instances in one certain place.. these happened in a certain building when I was well into my 30's. Outside of that building and at no other time in my life has anything "happened".

There must be something there. I havent been back there in years.... and have not seen , heard or felt anything since.

Yes I do. I have heard stories and seen things myself that make it impossible not too. However I do not care to share these stories as they include to many personal details. Also I dont think I will visit this thread again as I feel people will use it to push their religous veiws

Yes and no. I don't think we get haunted or anything like that. But I do think the dead can communicate to the living through our mind.

It is difficult for me to comment on this without putting my spiritual/"religious" views into it, but in short... "No", I do not believe in ghosts at all.

Well, to me, a ghost is some ones spirit, which we all have, I think anyways. Not trying to start a debate, but what do you personally believe in? If I offend you by asking, I am sorry, it wasn't my intent.

Over the last year, my parents bought a new house and had it moved onto their property.
Naturally it fell onto me to do the bulk of the work in fixing up the inside.

I had to pull up all the carpetting, and paint all the walls. Well, there's one side of the house that has almost all the windows on. And the paint my mom wanted in the kitchen was a really dark burgandy red. I found that the light coming in from outside would blind me to the dark paint, and I couldn't see what I was doing. So, I switched to paining at like, 2 AM, so I could turn on all the lights and see what I'm doing. Well, it was bad paint, and took about four coats. So I had to do this four times over the next week and a half.

When I'm in that house in the middle of the night, I feel like I'm not alone. And I hear noises from the other rooms. (All the carpeting is up. So it's unfinished plywood flooring.) Like things dropping. Hitting the floor. Some times stepping.
Well, my dad has an EMF reader I got, to make sure I wasn't in a fearcage. Couldn't pick up any noticable field readings.
Well... the last night I went to paint the kitchen, the whole time I was there, I felt like there was someone in the room with me, stairing at me.
I finally went through the entire house, turned on every single light, which then ment the darkest room in the whole house was the livingroom. Where my paintcan and paint pan was. I had my paint pan sitting on a step stool in the livingroom. I'd gotten the last of the paint out of the pan onto my roller, and finished up what I was doing.

Then I heard what sounded like a screwdriver being dropped on that plywood floor. I have no idea what the noise was, but that's what it sounded like. I looked up and in that direction, and then I saw my paint pan flip off the stool into the air, and land about two feet away from the stool.

I looked over everything. And I cannot find any conventional explinations for what happened.

I have an explanation for that. Its not conventional, but it is intelligent. Its not ghosts, but it is creatures you cannot see. As for their motive...thats deep. Most dont want to listen, and I cant state this publicly.

You know, between the last 2 posts of this thread, and the Alien thread, I will be up all night cowering in bed.

Well its not a lucky charm, but if you use it the right way, and believe what you read (nudge nudge wink wink) nothings gonna bother you for long even if you do have specific..."problems" that I wont get into here. Good will always overcome.

Yea I had a weird experience once I was like 16 n I was sitting in my room crying because a friend of mine was killed and I heard a voice from outside my window whisper my name like he use to do so I would sneak out the house and go to parties lol but when I heard that I freaked out n shut the dam window lol

Maybe he wanted some help. Heck, there goes a light by my window.

Pretending to be the ghost of a deceased loved one is a favoured tactic of wicked spirit forces my friend. Think about this: If this was truly your friends voice would you really had been that frightened? Of course not! Afterall this was a good friend. Even if I couldnt see my best friend I certainly wouldnt be terrified if he said my name...I know him. I love him as a brother. Thats nothing at all to be afraid of. BUT...if it were something else...

Indeed. Furthermore, I highly doubt your friend , whom you were deeply mourning over, would wish to scare the mess out of you for no reason if it had been truly him. Understandably "creepy". Now motive is key. Motive.
