Flaming Carrot: The Action Figure.....
Waaaaaay back when (1999 to be precise!!) There were promises of an action figure like no other......a figure that set the heart of a comic book/toy collecting geek in the UK aflutter
.......a nerd.... ....5000 comic books read in ONE sitting.... ...this was the origin of the fiery root vegetable-headed superhero known as........ FLAMING CARROT!!!! http://i835.photobucket.com/albums/z...8c18c41e95.jpg Fighting villains alongside those most blue-collared of superhero groups THE MYSTERYMEN!!! Flaming Carrot was touted as the must have action figure of '99.......(or possibly not..) but sadly this toy geek didnt get a chance to possess this most bizarre of superhero toys.. So 12 years down the line,friends,collectors,Toyarkers.... does anyone own him,or has anyone owned him,and can anyone help me answer these questions..... Was he released in 4inch,6inch or both sizes?? Has anyone seen him lately??? Where the hell can i get him from?? |

|

Always liked FC. Definitely a fun series to read and worth checking out. And for those unaware, the Mystery Men that the OP mentioned is the same group that the Ben Stiller movie was based on.

Thanks TS,i did some digging last nite, and it turns out he was made in 4+6 inch form, the 4inch versions were very few in number as it was almost a self-produced toy. Eventually Dark Horse took over the toy production and upped the figure size to 6inch.
So i can pretty much kiss good-bye to getting my mitts on the 4-inch one!!! BOOO!!! |
local comic shop had this yesterday so i snapped a pic :)
