Alpha Flight, gone again?
 

I can't believe it. They put out a new mini, then call it a monthly and now it is back to a mini. Why? I love Alpha Flight (at least this line-up) and thought the new books were great. They put out that new Ghost Rider crap and it stays around. Does anyone else feel they should have given it another chance?

Canada gets no damn respect, haha.

oh I would have to dig through my long box but it has Dooms face real big and I think alpha flight are in his chalice,its an older one.

Ghost Rider I would imagine isn't gone because with the new movie coming out in a few months they can capitalize on its 'popularity' :)

They should re-boot Alpha Flight with Wolverine, Spiderman, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, and Capt. America on the team if they want it to last.

They could call it New Alpha Flight.

But seriously, I read the first issue of the most recent incarnation of Alpha Flight and it was the most God-Awful comic book I've ever put my eyeballs on... IMO of course.

Well...it got better- particularly if you dig Marina.
She gets some great moments.

Really hate the art though- SO stiff!

Cmon.. it wasnt that bad!! :eek: I was reading the series..I think it was decent. i never expect Alpha Flight will be able to hold down a monthly title in this day and age.. but i am happy with a mini every now and then.

The new Ghost Rider is really bad.. I dont even think the movie is going to save it.. I think the movie is going to stink anyways.. I thought the 1st movie was pretty lame.

I dont know why the FF and ghost rider films were so lacking while the other Marvel films have been really good. Head scratcher.

Why does Canada need a super hero team anyway?

When the Avengers lay the smackdown on some villian where would you flee to escape? that's right to the great white north which is only a hop skip and jump from New York where every big battle seems to happen. so I would be inclined to believe yes they do need heroes

yeah but that is quite a haul and unless the villians become involved with lucha libre they will stand out a bit more, whereas in Canada they can hide in the trees or something :)

haha classic. its almost like tradition that this book gets cancelled. come on canadians, read more comics and this wouldnt happen!

I don't think there are enough Canadians to support this book on their own.

What they need to do is make the team operate out of New York.
