Transformers: Maketoy G2 Prime Battle Tanker
 

I'm loving the look of this upgrade. Is anyone else preordering? Mine is in. This will be my Christmas gift to myself this year. I'm really hoping these Maketoy guys are good, because the Devastator they're working on is looking just as solid as this Prime upgrade.

Sadly I won't be getting this any time soon... But I can't deny that this is the coolest 3rd party product I've seen for Transformers so far. The love that's gone into making this, and the fact they put in the 3mm pegs so you can attach the extra weapons shows they're fans themselves.

PS that ancient blade sword is possibly one of the coolest TF weapons EVER!!!

nope wont get it. because i dont like it.

I'm pretty torn on this one, as cool as this thing is, as soon as I plunk down for it, Hasbro will go and announce a black repaint to RTS Prime. I really don't want to buy this twice so, I'm gonna hold out for as long as I can.

Almost certainly will preorder, been waiting for this thing!

I *really* want this thing, pretty badly. But the $100 is just too steep for my blood right now.

They keep calling this a first edition release, so I'm just going to have to gamble that they're planning on reissuing it every so often, like Fansproject did with the City Commander armor.
I also really want those G2 constructicons.

Maketoys so far is the *only* third party group that's impressed me the way Fansproject has. TF Club, Crazy Devy. iGear... do nothing for me.
