Well, not sure if it's the first, but this guy's supposed to be part of the "Artist Collection" line (like "Video Game Masterpiece" or "Movie Masterpiece")

Samurai's a collab. between Hot Toys and a couple of Japanese artists. So yeah, if you may, it's a "fantasy" line.

And I'm making him my second Hot Toys figure. Gonna tryout that Flex Pay thing from Sideshow Collectibles (about $108 a month over 3 months).

The Hot Toys Samurai Predator is cool and I understand that it is based on the imagination of the Japanese creator. I do hope it comes with a nice backstory of how this predator came to be. Perhaps this Predator was impressed with the code of honour of the Japanese Samurai after he fought one and decided that he liked their armour.. They could even go further to say that the Japanese samurai sword that Hanzo used to fight the Falconer Predator in the movie was left behind by this Samurai Predator.. But then that would mean that this was a "Super Predator" .. Pardon the lousy story but I am just highlighting the fact that without a proper backstory I think this figure would just remain as one of those extra figures which is good to have, but not too important to own...
