Just finished reading this. It was actually better than I imagined it to be but I think that's all due to the art. Quick synopsis taken from Wikipedia for those who don't know what this is.

Batman: Noël is an original graphic novel written and illustrated by Lee Bermejo, who previously did the artwork for Joker. It is based on Charles Dickens' classic novel A Christmas Carol and features characters from both Dickens and the Batman mythos. Like Joker, the story is narrated by one of the Clown Prince's henchmen.

Would you reccomend it?

I would. It's a good read. Plus the art just compliments it so well.

I passed on it because I ussually end up dissapointed in holiday offerings.

Yeah...the whole Christmas Carol comparison does give it an odd feel. I mainly got due to the art work. Sometimes that's the only reason why I buy comics.

That's an awesome image. I was just about to read a Darth Bane book, but with the Christmas season upon us, maybe I'll check this out.

God, I regret reading this. So horridly bad.

What's up with the story? I dig the artwork, but is the story itself really that awful?
