Who has the best sculpted face?
 

Marvel Universe is a largely growing toy line that has a lot of product being pumped out lately, and I want to ask you what figures past,present future what is the best headsculpt(s) you've seen and this can also include examples from the sister lines. I chose headsculpts because despite Hasbro's questionable QC issues, and we can all exlude this or that figure because we didn't like this or that, so lets just focus on likeness,paint, and detail in sculpt on our favorite Marvel characters.

My choices : from my own collection: red skull from cap series, xforce Deadpool,WWH, Skarr, from the IM2 line Mandarin and ultimate IM.

figures I don't have but on the want list: vision,sunfire, giant skrull,black goliath, giant frost giant

future figures: beast, jubilee, professor x,

I think Cable has the best face sculpt! The new Daredevil from the comic pack looks not bad too from the photos...but I still don't own that figure yet. Astonishing Wolverine has a very nice face sculpt too, that is the only reason why I was force to get another wolverine.

Agreed. She is a combination of spooky looking and attractive.
Anyway, honestly, Blade. He looks bad ass, but people seem to really dig that Wesley Snipes look so he gets no love. :confused:

I agee on Cable, great sculpt. I really like the sculpt for She Hulk from what I have seen from preview pics. Although we shall see if in looks as good once in full production.

even tho his head was freakishly large i would have to go with the 1st single carded punisher. he has a look like he would drop kick a old person and not flinch

Blades face is terrible, but at the same time, not.

colossus and cable for me....i also like mystique's head quite a bit as well. as far as females go in the line she is one of the only ones to actually look like her comic character.

u know ive been lookin at all my MU and besides punisher i dont see one with a gud face sculpt. maybe thanos, but the rest so so. i think im losing interest in the line lol

Good point Mystique does have a nice headsculpt, and paint apps, and does resemble her comic likeness very nicely. Crossbones should be added also, I love the detail and the 1 I picked up has flawless paint, great figure.
I would also say the silver centurion IM has a great sculpt and is identical to it's ML counterpart.

Fuck money.

I think his face is unique, but too unique by comic standards.

If it gives birth to more money, then count me in!

Definitely think Cable, WW Hulk, Ghost Rider, and Mystique have excellent head sculpts.

Astonishing wolverine is pretty great too.

Steve Rogers is a great sculpt, but comes off as a bit "young" or "inexperienced" for Steve. Maybe if he had just some slight crow's feet around the eyes......

Secret Wars Storm isn't bad either and one of the few good female sculpts.

Next years Punisher looks amazing in every single way, Beast too.

I agree both look excellent, the new punisher kinda reminds me of the way the new spawn series looked like the animated look, imo atleast.

I love the unmasked headsculpt on MU Jim Lee Wolverine. This one: http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5293/...d83f7f5e4b.jpg NOT, the first version which looked hideous IMO. That unmasked Wolvie head is perfect IMO... I stuck it on my MU GB CP brown suit Wolvie.

And I also love MU Archangel's & Colossus's headsculpts; both are also perfect IMO.

Blade is one of the very worst.

Comic Pack version- There are some that looked really off back when it came out but the more recent ones look really sharp.

MU's paint aps have really gotten great as a rule.
