Armored Avenger Legends Wave 2 @Marshalls
 

JamesBenjamin, who posts @hisstank and tfw2005(maybe he posts here too?), gave me the heads up that Iron Man Armored Avenger Legends Wave 2(the wave with Crimson Dynamo), has showed up at Marshalls for $5 per figure.

I had actually seen Crimson Dynamo for the 1st time today at Walmart and paid full price.

This wave has been scarce, have only seen the remnants of it twice, today was the 1st time I saw the whole wave at Walmart, 1 each on shelf.

Initiative War Machine is cool but mine has a loose neck swivel. Feels cheap. Crimson Dynamo is awesome. Pretty cool to see him and Titanium Man from wave 1 released because they were intially planned for the 2008 line, in fact we inadvertently had shots of them from the SDCC booth pics(they were off to the side).

Stealth Striker Iron Man is the sleeper hit of the wave. I saw it once before and passed thinking, "wait I have the RDJ MKIV, why would I need this, it's just a repaint?". Today I saw it, somewhat resisted but bought it. Once I opened it I was pleasantly surprised. The paint job is excellent, well utilized mix of blue, and silver.

I paid full price for mine @Walmart($12+), so if you find these at Marshalls for $5, it's a steal.

I saw these three yesterday. If anyone wants to trade for MU Black Panther, Jean Grey, Juggernaut, the Soldiers & Henchmen pack or Vision (lol) let me know, I'll go pick them up!

Also saw a half-dozen Spider-Man line toys there, so watch for the rare villains to maybe pop up. Also $5 each.

How much for the henchmen pack? I'd happily take one!

Very tempting, but I hate going to the Marshalls around me. Their stores always look like crap and the toy section is probably the worst part.

Still, $5 for Initiative WM....

Uh, Foster meant he wants the henchmen 3-pack, not that he has it available for trade.

No, that's just my want list. What Marshalls has is the IM legends.

yeah I saw this wave at tjmaxx actually the other day,they also had the spiderman 3 3/4 line there as well.

I see that now, but the sentence structure was poorly constructed, and therefore confusing. I wasn't the only one to think this. :P

I'm not disputing that. I'll use shorter sentences.

Not a problem, I should have read it over again, but it looked like that was the lineup of figures at your store that you would pick up for someone. ;P

On the same note as topic though, but in the 3.75 world instead, I did see Mandarin, Cyborg WM, Ult IM, and Comic Whiplash at TRU. So we're apparently seeing everything old and rare pop up now.

I got mine from Walmart months ago, I did pay full price which sucked, I think it was around 15-16.99, so might as well say $20, only 1 I didn't get was the hulkbuster armour, and with the new wave coming all I need to get is the stark racing armour and the modular armour.

Spiderman toys...did you see Stretch Strike Venom?

Nope. Bunch of Spideys with gliders and snowboards and shit.

I was thinking that Shocker had Marshalls/TJ Maxx written all over it... especially if they cancel that line, which I thought I read somewhere that they were.

Damn. The figures I didn't want! The Spidey figures in that line aren't all that.

Not surprised, it was a poor selling line.

Might have to check out marshall's then. At 5$ a pop, I wouldn't pass like I did at walmart.

Hopefully Winner's in Canada will start getting these too. I've always been tempted to buy the stealth Iron Man, but I just don't want to pay full price.

$5 is a decent deal, but I don't collect that scale in Marvel stuff. Plenty of DCUC, but notta on the Marvel front.

btw the im line figures all had bad paint apps.

They're pretty good figures, Stealth Strike Iron Man is very sharp.

Yeah I've seen that figure a few times at Walmart now, every single one has had nice, clean paint apps so far.

Hmmmm, looks like I'll be hitting Marshall's tomorrow then.
